Question related to Endless & Oni mode

I have been playing StepMania 5 and was wondering if anyone else has run into an issue I have had. I have been generating step files using Dancing Monkeys. These files play fine in the Normal game mode, but when I try to play Endless or courses in Oni StepMania does not display or seem to recognize them. I have noticed that some (but not all) step files from other available packs have this same behavior. I have compared the text of the files and made some adjustments but cannot figure out what causes the behavior. Does anyone know if there is a specific piece of the step file that Endless/Oni looks for but Normal does not?



I posted a similar inquiry over on the StepMania forums, but it seems like they have been overrun by spam bots and are not nearly as active as this community. Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time
