Re: What's the story behind your Username? V2
Such a dumb username but I was young when I made it. In my defense, it sounded pretty at the time. Now I'm sitting here like "Really..?"

Re: What's the story behind your Username? V2
I came up with my name when i was 10. My cousin made up a character and came up with skills for it and said i should make one myself and the one who has the better character/skills would win. So i came up with star reaper from a dumb little game.

icyworld abreviated icontrolyourworld and sounds much better, I go with it whenever/wherever I can

sorta just blew my mind there, Jae .___.;
As for my username, I like musical and as a kid, I had always wanted to be in one. As for the "vampire", sorta regret it now with the stupid Twilight predicament but MIND YOU I made it before the whole lame vampire stuff. They were just nifty, mythical creatures back then and I liked them x.x

Re: What's the story behind your Username? V2
I first used my username on Nintendo's official Nsider forums at the time (that was like 6 years ago). I have no recollection of myself typing this username, in fact, I thought it was given to me at pure random!
While time passed, I'm still using it now for online communities. So far, nobody seems to complain about it (and it just rolls of your tongue so nicely too huh) |

Re: What's the story behind your Username? V2
When I was 14 I called myself Kasumi, but I noticed that many girls began to call themselves like that. Then I shortened the name to Kasu. In 2008 I discovered this website lol and when I was registering 'Kasu' was taken or something, so I had to add numbers, and the first ones that came to my head were '404' from error 404. I don't know why lol.
Since then I use Kasu404 for everything |

{Midnight} is my favorite Cornandbeans song and the Xx xX part was because I loved to doodle the letter X even still.
Most people call me Midnight or Middie though. |

Re: What's the story behind your Username? V2
Well I've had many different usernames in the past. I had been trying to find a more permanent usrname on another site. I decided to call myself MysticWonder, it just sounded neat. XD Eventually my friends began giving me shorter nicknames like Mystic or Mys, for example. So I eventually came up with Mysstii, for a username. Lol that was pretty long. XD

ph0enixblade was when I decided to sign up for neopets or runescape or whatever
ph0enixblade was taken though, so I used phe0nixblade most mmo's I use lxDarkMagicxl cause I used to use lx Magic xl then my friend use xl Magic xl so I just threw the Dark on it. Username is my KBO username which I stole from Leonid. Then when i started using KBO ventrillo I just added "fuccen" in front of username, which is what I mostly use nowadays. fuccen username

Re: What's the story behind your Username? V2
My first account is idrawanime, because I draw anime. I still draw anime today.
Ike is my middle name and my first music I produce in FL Studio back in 2008 is called Basic Beat. I came with my music artist name: Beat-of-Ike. That's where I got my new username, BeatofIke or BoI for short, whatever you want to call it. Eventually in January 2011, I made a new FFR account using this username. |

My parents bought me the Netjet! gaming controller thing when I was younger, so I thought I'd make it my username. I only use it for FFR though

Re: What's the story behind your Username? V2
I suppose I'll be social and discuss the story behind my username. It's actually a long story, ironically enough.
Back when I was younger and started to get into forums, the first forum I ever registered for was the GameWinners forums (GameWinners was a gaming site, primarily had cheats and whatnot). Back then, the first username I ever used was "FFire". During my time on the forums (which was... about a year or so I suppose), that name actually evolved, especially as I started learning how to do ASCII art (the art of mixing together letters, numbers, and symbols to create a picture, for those who don't know). At the time, the GameWinners forums were freely providing name changes for those who requested them, and because of this I changed my name a lot, primarily because of the fact that I was doing ASCII art and whatnot. (FYI, about the ASCII art, I still can do ASCII art but only simple ones, primarily letters.) I believe the names I requested were "FFire" to "Goldfire", and "Goldfire" to "Silverfire". The more "special" part of this story is that one point, I eventually came across a GameWinners forum user by the name of "I Am Always Right". At that time, being the kid I was back then, I decided to be silly and have my name changed to "I Am Always Wrong", and that name, as ironic as the name's creation was, stuck to me. (Looking back, I think it's because I don't consider myself special, and that I feel like I do everything wrong in some shape or form, including life. A bit emo, but at least I don't go about bugging people about it, well, like an actual emo person.) Abbreviated, it's obvious to tell that "I Am Always Wrong", when abbreviated, is "IAAW", hence the name I have been using for the longest of times, and has stuck to me like glue. Even when I try to make new usernames, IAAW simply sticks. I guess you can say that usernames, in a way, can be truly personalized, especially since I have almost never encountered a case where my current username was taken, except for when registering for Steam (so I could play with pretty much the only friends in the world I actually have). I guess that's my username story. Nowadays I consider my username "imaginative". Why? Because IAAW can mean anything, not just "I Am Always Wrong". For example, it can mean "I Am A Walrus", and can also mean more... explicit meanings like "I Am Ass Wipe". Truly imaginative indeed. |
