Re: FFR March Madness Bracketology 2008 Edition (Because LD = Party Pooper)
What a frustrating website. I kept getting "Page not found" or this lovely message...
"The page you have requested is currently unavailable. Please click back and try again. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience." **** you ESPN. Oh btw I'm working on my bracket if the website actually lets me complete it without thinking up some new error. Edit: K so I made my bracket and I'm trying to join the group but it keeps saying page not found or unavailable, blahblahvaginas. I'll try later. Edit dos: I think I joined, it's just that instead of a confirmation page, I got errors. Can someone check if I'm on the omgcoolteam? Edit insanity: K I've joined because it finally loaded the group page. And lol @ the motto and lumph not having a bracket done yet.

Re: FFR March Madness Bracketology 2008 Edition (Because LD = Party Pooper)
it would appear that espn can't handle the amount of traffic it's currently getting... likely because of the tournament. amusing, if we all weren't trying to access it as well.

already lost 3 games. if you have 100%, that means you've yet to pick an upset. GOTTA pick upsets. .

Lost 3 games as well. 18% with 40 points for now. DX

Yeah, I don't think all 4 #1 seeds have ever met in the Final Four.

I hate those stupid 8/9 matchups. I never pick them right.
And I'm really regretting picking duke for the win after today. Last edited by Xandertrax; 03-20-2008 at 09:35 PM.. |

Re: FFR March Madness Bracketology 2008 Edition (Because LD = Party Pooper)
How do the percentages work? I'm at 58 percent, but I've only gotten 3/12 wrong. That does not add up.

Re: FFR March Madness Bracketology 2008 Edition (Because LD = Party Pooper)
The percentages have to do with how much further you picked the teams that have lost to go in the tournament. For example, if you chose USC to go to the Final Four (they lost), then there is no way they can win their round of 32, sweet 16, or elite 8 games, so you automatically "lose" those. Does that make sense? I'm not really explaining it properly.

Re: FFR March Madness Bracketology 2008 Edition (Because LD = Party Pooper)
no. percentage is your percentage ranking vs everyone who made a bracket. aka, you rank 58% with 9/12... aka 42% of people got 10, 11, or 12 right.
