Jumpin' on the Logitech K120 wagon
Seriously this thing is so awesome. The arrow keys even register quads for one handed play, if you're into that sort of thing

Re: Skill + right Keyboard = epic win.
I've been using a Dell keyboard Model SK-8115 for years playing FFR. It's great for me because I don't like using flat keys for game play (tend to slip a lot and register tons of random boos). Not really convinced to jump this Logitech keyboard bandwagon, but I love their products. I'd give it a shot if I get my hands on one to try.

Re: Skill + right Keyboard = epic win.
I'm currently using a Logitech Deluxe 250 keyboard (tilde 24$), which is surprisingly good considering the fact it looks so stock.
The keyboard is feather light and key response is spot on. The keys feel between being high and flat. |

Re: Skill + right Keyboard = epic win.
I learned to play on a razor lycosa. I am now using an old off-white no brand thing from the 90s. I have seen no difference in my playing ability between the two so I say keyboard does not matter at all.
Pull one out of a dumpster, you will be a champion. |

Re: Skill + right Keyboard = epic win.
Mechanical switch keyboards are the only keyboards for me ever since I got the Razer Blackwidow.
Cost me $80 (not worth the extra 40 for the ultimate) and is amazing. Mechanical switch boards feel MUCH different than regular keyboards. They have a "clacky" feel to them, but the keys are extremely light to press. Get something with a Cherry MX Black or Red switch. All the others are tactile switches. Meaning you don't have to press all the way down to actuate the key, which really isn't necessarily unless you do a lot of typing. While smashing keys, you're not worried about how far down you have to press, so it's not worth looking into them. Last edited by ScarletSky; 11-29-2011 at 01:52 PM.. |

Let me join the club !
I had the Razer Lycosa for about two years and compared to the Logitech Illuminated, it's really a third-rate keyboard ; it just fixed all the problem I had with Lycosa (good key lighting ; no driver bug ; only one usb port necessary and no retarded tactile zone that you never touch because of how awkward it is to try to do something with it)
