Stepmania 5 issue

I'm having huge issues with WHAT scoring system to use? Feels like I've tried every. Single. One. Of 'em haha.

I'd like to know this as well. I assumed extreme is the same scoring, but I haven't had the need/time to check yet. I posted something similar on the smo forums, and they said to ask the sm-ssc developers.

FFS it IS an ISSUE.

Because I play on SMO alot. And I can't compare scores and whatnot if its not the same scoring system.

And why not have an option to use the old scoring system? And I don't wanna use the older SMs. BECAUSE, why should I have to?

It's not an issue. The same people who created and worked on past versions are working on this one. iirc the default scoring system should be extremely similar if not the same.

SM5 is currently being worked on, and is not even considered in its Alpha stage yet. This should be more than enough reason to downgrade if you feel uncomfortable or uncertain using the new build especially if you're comparing your scores to other players constantly.

Also keep in mind the theme was built from nothing and their is a lot of things that should change. The devs are always up to new ideas for the public, it's better to go straight to them and ask.
