Rarity did some serious skillboosting. As much as I don't like him being in D2 at the moment~ He did skillboost correctly since the start of the tourny, and still deserves to be in D2.

But it dosen't really matter, because i'm going to beat him. Badly. >:]

And I did so in this so called 'dead time' that everyone is bitching about. If you cared enough about advancing, Mollo, you would be constantly refreshing the page every 30 seconds to find a window of opportunity to get the engine and tournament song loaded. If you were too otherwise occupied to participate yesterday, it shouldn't have mattered that the servers were experiencing trouble and you should have tried all that much harder to get a great score in the PREVIOUS 6 DAYS the round was active knowing that you would be busy at the end.

It's called planning ahead, and IMO no form of retribution should be paid when the rounds are so long. If kmay were to have the better score last round and I were to have gotten 9th, I wouldn't be moping because the servers were down and I certainly wouldn't be demanding any type of consolation prize . I know that I had enough opportunities to get a good score, and I actually capitalized on that. My best score didn't record because the servers were down. So what? Kayla responded immediately and added it to the dash. In the end, people who were eliminated can be sour grapes and blame it on not-that-bad server lag or they can be graceful and accept that they were eliminated due to an assortment of reasons that are their fault.

p.s. I agree. You have a whole fuccen week per round, your loss if you wait to the end. Shit happens, plan ahead or get owned, it's as applicable in competitve gaming as it is in anything else.


Oh btw if you are in shortage of tiebreaker files I have a few that would work for the D2 tie. Not sure, but offering just in case.
Not going to touch the D6 tie as I'm sure there are others who have much better files, or ones in the queue.

Thank you. I constantly refreshed the engine when I saw my score drop to 6th. I used every possible second of time I had available to see if the engine came up. If I got a score - I screenied it and would send it to Kayla or Halogen and see if they'd add it to the dash. You could've also used some of the isolation files for the tournament to practice while you waited for that small up-time on the engine.

Kayla said she's postponing the round until there is good measure to believe the site will be up. I would be thinking this is a DDoS based on the timeframes. From the hours of 8-3, my time (GMT -7)... the site is always up and never slow. This tells me someone's getting home and then attacking the site and/or the traffic that comes to the site around dinner time is too big and the server hosting cannot allocate enough bandwidth to everyone.

Also my pet peeve: People who use P.S.S in the second line :P
It's supposed to mean post-post script, so I never understand why the second S is used.
