Re: FFR Quidditch Tournament
Yeah...
Anyway-- I won't be around for round one, so could you bring in a sub for one round?... I just got dragged into a sopntaneous driving vacation with my family (ugh) and I'll be gone till the 14th I'll be back and ready to tourney it up on the 14/15th. So... If you could get a one-round sub, that'd be fun :P

We can't just bring in a sub. for round one, and just take them out again. Subs are meant to maintain the position for the rest of the tournament the second one person isn't active for one round. Sorry, but that's what it had to come to. Also, we had a large amount of people in the 'keeper' division, and as much as I hate tampering with the the setup of the Harry Pot pot books, we have decided to make two keepers, on each team. There were more subs than the amount of people we placed in the keeper division. Because of the extra keeper now on the teams, we may need to change the ability of the keeper when he AAAs, in order to keep it balanced. Anyways, a few things will changed because of this, but we now have everyone placed, and more news will be updated in the First-Third posts soon. (Around August 9th) Thanks. XD EDIT : Slightly changed scoring system, and prizes have been fixed in the first post. Also, the keepers' ability changed too. 0.o Last edited by Jtehanonymous; 08-6-2007 at 07:12 PM.. |

Re: FFR Quidditch Tournament
Bleh ... I hate when components of tournament are time-based as whichever participants are on soonest when the "24 hours" starts will be able to get that 80 points for their team easier than other participants who may be in a different time zone, and even if they're in the same time zone ... it's all a matter of luck in when you choose to be on the computer. =\

And even when a round does start, the seeker can't start for 24 hours.. As long as you're fairly active, and check once every day or two, you shouldn't have any problem if you're a seeker. |

Well... I think I might have limited internet access during my trip.. now that my mom mentions that she will bring her laptop.
I'll try my best to submit during round 1.

Re: FFR Quidditch Tournament
We need a definite yes. If you don't submit, you'll be hurting your whole house which we WILL NOT accept. And since there's no way you can know for sure you won't be playing.

Re: FFR Quidditch Tournament
Well think about it. Getting 0 points out of 40 points is a huge miss for the team. From that you could cause the whole team to lose which we will simply not accept for you to hurt your team because you're gone.
