Glowsticking/Glowstringing help

Hey all... I just recently found out about a cool thing called glowsticking and glowstringing. (Just type it in on YouTube). I was wondering if anybody on here knows how to do it. If you do, could you help me? The only things that I can do is make a circle go from big to small (wrap it around your hands) and make a figure eight with it. Or, could someone find a REALLY good video on explaining what I should do to make the 4-beat, 8-beat, butterfly, and whatever other moves there are? I've typed in how to glowstring but I don't get very much information on it. They show a demestration and that's about it...

I actually had a thread about this since I am a fellow glowstringer. I learned off youtube and there are plenty of videos that walk you through the steps and such. Try hitting up glowsticking.com they have a bunch of tutorials there as well.

um... its called poi
glowstringing/sticking sounds retarded
search for "poi lesson" in youtube
while youre at it, check out a wikipedia article and learn about its history

I thought that poi was with the huge balls on the end of a string instead of a glowstick or string...

Yeah poi is basically the same thing just poi is usually slower and doesn't involve wraps usually because most of the time it's fire poi.
