Yes. The thing is, when chakrila started making DWIs, it started a whole revolution of hard DWI's and inspired lots of other people to make hard DWI's. With super hard dwis, it makes people better overall just by playing a single song, etc etc. For a long long long time, a lot of us DWI players were stuck with stuff like A being the hardest DWI ever concepted, because not many people were able to get used to notepad. BMR was basically the king of stepfiles, sure a few other people made stepfiles like CMCM, but noone ever really noticed them. The only thing people really cared about was BMR BMR BMR, and that's still kinda how it is today. Once chakrila made his stoic, everything changed, and people who could conquer A easily like myself(passing A with an A back then was considered good, even though I wasn't even close to the best back then) failed stoic like it was on sudden death mode. It set a whole new standard for the way people were used to playing. I got so mad that I couldn't pass stoic that I almost broke my keyboard but I kept trying and eventually beat it with a B. After that, chakrila set a whole new standard with FOTBB. Although offbeat, most people couldn't tell. That's around when I found FFR and joined. Then, a little after I joined FFR, I made payon, which still to this day is still considered one of the hardest DWI's on the internet. Most of you know the story from there...
