Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament
Yeah, and the final round song would probably reach a difficulty similar to Death Piano

Or you could have a lot of burst heavy files, those songs are easiest to find

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament
The final three files for D7 could probably be the same as what would've been used for D6, given that it's normally just D7 players by Round Six anyways. If anything, if D7 existed, the difficulty for D6 files would just be scaled down a bit, ending on like an 88 or 89 as opposed to a 92 or 93.
Not that it's happening, just saying~ |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament
D5 definitely shouldn't've gotten UC last tourney lmao, but okay then sure, a 90 idc, yoloswag420
I'm just speaking hypothetically of course, but a 95+ wouldn't be required for a D7 final (would be fun to watch though) |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament
Even then D5 got Scrap Syndrome in the 6th official and that's a pain in the ass for an 87. 88-89 is pretty accurate, putting aside the Undiscovered Colors file from last official.
Just an honest two cents though, skillboosting in the highest division now isn't comparable to a time like the 5th official. D6 is insane. |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament
Well, thinking it over, if you DO do a D7, why not claim that division, the King of Champions Division? That way it'll be a grand battle between the top what 10 best avg. ranked people to battle out for FFR champion? Give it a little boost to competitiveness.
EDIT: Maybe even put a profile badge/personal banner/personal title that states FFR Champion of FFR Official *x* x being what official number it is. |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament
Well if there's a D7, only like 2, 3 people would be ineligible for prizes. That's not fair. Basically, the prizes are like freebies. AND you D7'ers would get the most credits. You would barely have to try (Yes i know, high competition blah blah blah). Then again, it would give D6 some breathing room.
I'm torn. |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament
My only question about a seventh division is... Where will be the cutoff between D6 and D7?
This hasn't been planned out, and doing it now will just make everything screwy.

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament
I agree, but I feel that they all should get prizes being in the "Top Tier" division. So if it is 8 players, then obviously all 8 get a prize, but if it's 10, then just add 2 more. I mean, if it's more credits to add to the pot, so be it, FFR credits aren't hard to come by now with the gambling hall/gameplay of the site anyway.
Giving out 10 more people credit prizes will hardly do enough damage lol |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament
It wouldn't make everything screwy because there's such a huge skill difference in D6 as it is. The thing of it is that it would basically just be the few elite that can AAA majority of the FGOs so the division would be small. It's one of those sucks no matter what situations.
