hard to say because I've never had a single account for much longer than a year. In fact, in 2007 I would make an account for every browser session because I never stored any cookies for reddit.
the most comment karma I've ever had on one account was 10,000. if you totaled up the karma from every account I've used it'd be something like 30,000-40,000. |

I don't comment enough and what little I do comment is in smaller subreddits. I have maybe 20-30 posts and ~300 comment karma.
I lurked forever, made an account last year for the rally, and then promptly continued lurking. We had this thread a few weeks back but nobody gave a shit. Good to see ore response this time around. A few days ago I spotted megamon88 in r/mylittlepony. *brohoof*

 Back on topic, I made an account a couple months ago, but almost never post or comment on anything. As a result I have minimal amounts of karma. Not that anyone really cares about karma anyways.

The trick to reddit is finding smaller, more worthwhile subreddits. Some of my favorites are /r/truereddit and /r/cogsci.

r/trees is very worthwhile if you're into that sort of thing. r/spaceporn, r/earthporn, r/randomactsofpizza, r/iama, etc, all very good non-topic-specific subreddits. I unsubscribed from r/f7u12, r/politics, r/atheism pretty damn quick. r/pics is also rapidly falling out of my good graces.
