Wait Wait Wait, Your telling me your dad is extremely rich and you have money lying around and you don't have a Alarm System..... does your family lack common sense?
Don't get me wrong losing $40,000 is definitely rough but, as far as i'm concerned that's just the dumbest thing i've ever read.... |

Re: My house got robbed and I lost almost $40000 worth of valuables
Thats ****ed up.
I just got robbed 2 days ago as well walking down the street. Some guys tried setting me up and trying to get me to go behind a building and such (Not gonna explain..). Anyway, I was suspicious so I left and went to a house, waited for a half hour then started walking home with my friend. He went down his street and I continued walking home. 2 Blocks away from my house; 5 guys came out of a side street out of no where telling me to hand over all of my **** and he pocket checked me, took 85 dollars worth of ****.. And I got fired the same day. -_- |

Yeah, we normally have money lying around everywhere. Also, our family is of two. My dad and myself. Dad uses at least $120 000 every month, maybe less, for business. It's for material costs and shipping costs for his business. Money drops down to $0, then the next day, back up + a little extra (his profit). That's the only reason why he kept such cash, and he normally needs it here and there. Anyway, it is a bit of our fault I guess, that we didn't have a proper security system.

Man, that sucks. But I've had worse.
We were only in San Diego for a week and a half and we got robbed. And this was while we were at Legoland. >.< They took our 360 with Rock Band, our Wii, PS3, iMac, and a whole bunch of randomness. I find it surprising that my room was left untouched.

Also, your room was probably upturned with 3 week old clothes and crap, that's why they didn't bother checking. Haha Quote:

Re: My house got robbed and I lost almost $40000 worth of valuables
I had my house robbed last year, fortunately they didn't have enough time to all the valuable things before my sister came back home so aide from messing up my house and stealing some of my mother's jewels they didn't do much. Even then, it already pisses me off that somebody entered my house without a permission and with bad intentions.

It sometimes makes you wander, why? A little on the philosphical idea, but why?
Not necessarily "why me", because that's more or less leaning to the depressed side... But Why?

You didn't do anything bad to these people, so why are they doing something like this to you aye? Seems like not all the people in your school are docile. You can't trust anyone, someone at your school could have possibly seen some vital information when you didn't realise it. I always see "gangs" hanging out with drugs in high school, they just never get caught smoking.
