Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
I'm getting tired of Chicago vs Vancouver. Personally, I don't think Chicago is a very good team, and just happened to be on the plus side of an unpredictable sequence of flukes when they won. I'd prefer if Phoenix offed them in round one. They're unskilled and gooney, and not very exciting to watch. Also the idea that 3 playoff series makes a rivalry is kind of annoying. Rivalry is what teams from the same region build up over decades.
My picks are the same as Poison's. |

I will never understand anyone that picks Florida over New Jersey. But hey, maybe they'll beat them... :/

Also, if you check the games they played against each other this season, there is no neat advantage to either team: 1. NJ @ FLA : 3-4 2. NJ @ FLA : 3-2 (shootout) 3. FLA @ NJ : 2-5 (2 empty netters) 4. FLA @ NJ : 3-1 (1 empty netter) Counting regular time goals, we get an even 11-11 for the season. Either could win.

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
So I did the tallying for each pick, and out of 14 participants, here is what was tallied:
STANLEY CUP FINAL: 7-7 (tied!) Of course this will be edited if more participants post their picks.

You mean the same as mine and everyone else who just copied what I did.
I picked Chicago over Phoenix before it was cool. #hipsterhockeyfan On Florida/New Jersey, NJ is just about the hottest team in hockey right now, and Florida had a weak record in a terrible division. As much as I hate the devils, NJ is the superior team.

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
Pittsburgh spent the last week of the season employing their "Injure everyone on the Flyers so we can beat them in the playoffs" strategy. Personally I think we should Broad Street Blow Their Brains Out all over the ice. #PenguinsAreDirtyCowards

First FFRSpace and now TwiFFeR? Sheesh.
Also, if the 50% of you who made the same picks end up going 8-for-8, I'm going to go broke. ;__; Donations please? I kid. Kind of. If you want to make some, be my guest, but I won't ask. |

I never got anything about it. Do I have to add yours? I don't play my 3DS all too often.
