Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
cool i lived rofl pwned
I didn't know chicken was helping as much as he was, but then again i actually suggested to fish to make it seem like most of the good ideas were coming from him since he was safe from the wolves. I probably should have made an effort to talk to some other people on AIM outside the chat too, since the only people i actually discussed anything with fairly frequently were fish and chicken. Good job on the chromer/rsr link on the first day though, i would never have noticed that. So all in all, it was a fun first game. also what the hell was with that fish wolf attempt on day 2 |

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
Where the wolves screwed up:
1)chromer playing a textbook wolf. 2)wolfing fish (that may have been the biggest) Where the humans won: 1)seer and guardian (and psychic indirectly) going to fish 2)seering psycho (bc he was doing a fairly good job of hiding) 3)stumbling upon rsr and chromer link Where the humans could have done better: 1)fish posted who was who when the game was in the air, from this (even tho I had the roles to look at) I was able to find out who a blue was. What the wolves did good: 1)wolfing me night 1 (since i was seered I would have been head of an alliance) 2)psycho saying under radar 3)rsr's phantom, i think, put him under the radar for a day which was pretty good. 4)going after the big hitters (myself, fish, tasuke, gonzo) it was only luck that one got a guard. Pretty much when the guard happened is when the humans won in my opinion. And I just want to ask matt who you picked to guard night 1? |

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
I didn't think it'd end so soon... I was actually quite nervous about coming out as psychic...
Meh, maybe i'm too paranoid, but I can't blame anyone for really keeping me out of the alliance. I was very very hard on fish (whether he knows that or not, i don't know) but I'm glad I made the choice to come out. I'll admit, I made some pretty big mistakes in this game, and looked rather wolfish because of them. I was still kinda rusty on the rules and could've been tricked and or stumped early on... (I didn't know the seer only saw human or wolf, didn't know blues.) I figured I'd try to get the real seer to seer me, and tell me I was psychic, to form a good alliance. Meh, I guess it all worked out for the best. I'm glad I was able to help (via sadsaw and well... the obvious unveiling of my role.) I had lots of fun, and look forward to playing another game.

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
Yea you were the reason that people thought I was the psychic. (Or at least you fooled fish.)
But your alt. acct. was a good idea too even though you put yourself in danger of being lynched and/or wolfed without anyone knowing who you were. |

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
Yeah, I was actually really worried about that on day 2. There was a ton of signs that could've pointed to me, and really, if it wasn't for fish, I'd have been gone for sure. I was planning to reveal my role then, as a last minute resort if need be... Thankfully I didn't have to.
It was a rather newb move, but seeing as this was only my second game... I think I did okay.

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
You know, what I really had a problem with was the inclusion of Fish. Don't get me wrong, he's a vet and did his part, but obviously no one else except maybe Chicken and others had thier own opinions while everyone else followed Fish like they were his little fan club.
Point is: Stop fsckin following other just because you're not intelligent to make a rational decision yourself. In plain, stop being fags and think for yourselves.

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
Observer, you have to understand that I had the mindset that the psychic was dead until sadsaw showed up. This forced chicken and I to try and make conclusions based on two different situations: whether or not chromer was a wolf. When you came out as the psychic, it wasn't the biggest surprise in the world (I thought it was Tasuke or you). The other thing is, I thought at first making a big deal out of not lynching tasuke was dumb because it would get him wolfed (even though I tried to make it look like he hadn't been seered), but then i realized that it would be a huge advantage because it would keep the wolves away from the blues.
Oh and Tasuke, I did win the game for you. <3 |

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
Wait... the psychic used an alt account to give info to the humans, when there was a human alliance already with the guarding of fish? That just seems so uber paranoid its not even funny.
BUT... the use of an alt account to spread blue information is an idea that I've had for games, but haven't been able to put into use. Because it has seemed that a) alt accounts haven't been used in TWG in a while... and b) when they were used, they were used for things that were generally counterproductive.

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
Yeah, well he really didn't trust me (even though I still can't see any reason you wouldn't after I said the seer and guardian had come out to me, and then no blues publically or privated disagreed with that state ment).

Wait wait wait, hold the phones. Observer didn't come to fish until later?!?!?
Great, and we had an ace up our sleves the whole time. I had thought of sending rsr out as the psychic to fish rite after the guard telling that chromer was a wolf. We might have been able to do something with that |

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
yup, you guys nailed it.
Day 2 for me was uber filled with conspiracy theories and stupid situations that I apparently thought I had been overlooking. I confessed a few of these to a couple players and well... they didn't disagree. However, I don't even know if anyone has really even played THAT risky a game (scenario I thought Fish was playing in my mind.) So yeah, it was totally just paranoia. Now that I think about it... being that paranoid seems rather counterproductive... =/ Edit: Yeah Psycho, that may have royally ****ed me.

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
If Fish had been a wolf... well, its been done before in TWG.
TPS attacked himself and was guarded, although Afro foolishly told TPS before hand that he would be guarded... so there was no risk there. The risky move was all the way back in either TWG 10 or 13... when Alain attacked himself Night 2 WITHOUT guarentee of being guarded. He was fairly sure Panda was the guardian, and tried to nudge her into guarding him. He thought he had succeeded, but Panda realized he was pushing to be guarded, so she guarded someone else and Alain wolfed himself. Another risky move was in TWG22, where Alain got himself into ALOT of trouble night 2, so on day 2, I came right out and attacked the hell out of him and single-handedly got him lynched... which got me in with the human alliance and blues. Alain was pissed to high hell, but had the game progressed, I would have certainly won because of the move.

Re: jTWG XVII Postgame
but it wasn't even a possibility in this one (Fish being wolf)
Fish OPENLY asked to be seered (and he was) and there are no master wolves he said that all the roles came to him and NOBODY contradicted at all. It's not like all the blues were dead. It just seems... that there was no way he could be wolf. Plus, I knew who the seer was >_>;;
