Double post, but it's completely irrelevant to the irrelevant post before this

Checked the "some guitar parts are definitely not 16ths"-issue in Over the Bridge, but honestly I don't see it.
At 170.xxx seconds I slowed it down to 60%; maybe it's off by like a 64th or a 92nd, but the song doesn't warrant white/green arrow syndrome.
Any other part I just... heard 16ths tbh...

The only parts where I hear some kind of misrhythm is at the short sets of 24ths, which are technically 32nds. Would be quite a difficulty spike though.

But when that score was the deciding factor, yeah it makes more sense than you think.

Scin kinda hit the nail on the head here. I've been told everything from step the backing strings, to ignoring them multiple times.

I just finished my first simfile (of one of my own songs, Northwing Fury I). I wanted to send it to this batch already, but I think it would be safer to let someone else check it out, first. It's a bit hard (low 80s in the 1-99 scale, I'd guess). Would someone like to test it for me?

Congratulations AJ: your two rejudged files (Clouds from the East; Fast Rap Battle) are accepted into the queue.

Sent Somerset Blather On and On as my second submission to the regular batch for this time period -- already had two files before so I'm at my cap

Sent Northwing Fury I.

Let's hope this works...

(Damn, it'll take forever to fill the 120 files, at this rate)

it's better to get steady submissions of quality files than announcing the batch randomly and having people rush files

Precisely this.

I'm not sure how many files Carlos is sending, but if he's below his cap and willing to take a half point hit, I'll send our collab for Eclipse (Luna).

In addition to that, I'll try to finish off my collaboration with yo man im awesome on Maybe All This Time I was Wrong, by The Flashbulb for another half point.

I'll send in another boyinaband song (feat. NoneLikeJoshua) -- this one is a Sonic the Hedgehog dubstep + rap. That'll count for my two remaining files...

Maybe since there are 3 groups of judges, the first 40 could be sent into the judging process before the entire 120. Once it hits 80, send the next set out, ect. Maybe?

That would be lovely, but seems unlikely.

That'd be too simple.

PS: Wish I had thought of that.

That's not how it works. It's a set of 120, not a set of 40. Also consider that judges cannot review their own files, so giving the first 40 files may not exactly work.

Perhaps then exclude the files that are their own and pass them on to the second group and wait to get a few more files to compensate?

However, as much as I love that idea... I feel all judges judging at the same time of the month would work a lot better.

(lol... time of the month... periods... tee-hee)

Check the first post of this thread. There's a long way to go before the next batch of 120 is fully filled. There's less than 30 files so far.
