Default Ever played Cooking Mama?

It's on the Wii and the DS, right?

PETA made their own version. It's on their website. http://www.peta.org/cooking-mama/index.asp

This is so hilarious. I've been having a blast playing this.... I can't believe they picked on Cooking Mama. Honestly. But the result is great. Definitely recommended for carnivores.

I am MEANER THAN MAMA!!!

I've actually heard about that Cooking Mama game...I heard it was actually fairly decent. ._. I haven't heard about the Peta version though. I'm gonna go give it a shot. brb.

EDIT: That was awesome!

I just got to the bonus stage... it's kind of depressing compared to the rest of the game.

The thing I find funny is that the folks behind the official version aren't suing over this.

They issued a press release that seemed to be taking things very lightly and seemed to use it as a sort of cross promotion. Weak.

Why would you sue? More publicity. And I don't see this game turning anyone off from cooking mama, or making anyone vegan, no matter PETA's intent.

But now I'm in a jam, I can't figure out whether to use "Mama kills animals!!!" or "Thanks to you, Mama loves animals" for my background.

Hey, it made me dust off my old copy and play it again.

PS- Chrissi, go with the Momma kills animals. That's what I'm using.

A few days ago I sent this link to my roommate. From the other room, I basically heard:

"Oh god, oh god, ahahahahahhaa, oh god ahahhaa"
"Holy crap! AHhahaa I'm putting the guts in a bowl!"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Yeah, but Majesco can have their cake and eat it too. They can savor the sweetness of renewed interest in their product, and at the same time, they can sue the **** out of PETA for copyright and IP infringement.

Oh PETA... you so funny! "We hate people who kill animals!" And yet in 2006, their euthanasia rate for rescued animals was 97%... that's over 2900 animals killed in one year! Tee hee! Not to mention that fact that PETA's Senior Vice President is a diabetic who regularly takes insulin which was developed using animal testing and (in her own words) "still contains some animal products."

These guys crack me up!

Sucks that the last level was all 'happy happy tofu' though... I was really starting to enjoy myself with that game.

What a stupid ass game. "Did you know turkeys blah blah blah"

I would never eat an animal that is domesticated or could be. All I have to ask myself is one thing Would I let this animal live in my house with me?

If the answer is no, then I would eat it.

This game is disurbing and vile. Tofu in substitution for turkey? That's just wrong.

My girfriend is a vegetarian and a member of PETA and it bothers the hell out of me.
