Heh... the wii points. I did buy a card of that, and like most people would, I tried entering random numbers to see if I could get free points. I got mostly messages that said "Your number is invalid. Please try again or contact" blah. But I did get one that said "You cannot use this Wii Points Card in your Region!"

To make this Brawl related: uhh...uhh... Fox looks gay.

Edit: I find the Japan games on american wii not possible hard to believe aswell.

Still lol'ing at the ******ry some people are posting and actually being mad over a video game being delayed. Oh no everyone, hurry and go end your pitiful lives. So ridiculous.

owait, Brawl related.. I doubt this game deserves a 40/40. Some super nerd who knows every aspect of Melee will find something wrong with Brawl and then all the hype will die out shortly.

Just go ahead and post your Wii number here. I'll add so I can beat you when Brawl comes out. I still have yet to add zidart.

I'm sure my friends didn't chip in for a Japanese version of the Wii for nothing. So I'm assuming Japanese games cannot play on the American Wiis. Unless you modded it

The only gaming consoles I have ever heard of that are region free are the PSP and DS.

Region-locked.

The DS isn't. The Wii is.

Getting a mod chip could get rid of it though right? Last year I was playing a Japanese Naruto game on the Gamecube, but only because it was modded.

How would it be region locked? If it's on the Wii, it's way easier and cheaper to mod your Wii instead of buying another one. If it were on disc, this may hold some validity.

It's a lot harder nowadays. The Gamecube had the Freeloader. It was a soft mod. No soldering required. There are no easy ways to make imported games work with Wii.

@Tsug: Modding is illegal, and with a console hooked up to the Internet, it wouldn't be too hard for Nintendo to track down everyone who mods the console if they wanted to.

And why would you pay an additional $100 or so just to avoid a month's waiting for a video game.

Thats what I asked my friend. I was like can't they track the mod chip since your connected to the net? He said no, but I don't know. I think they can. He's getting one to download games and play them for free.

In general, I don't really question others about why they buy this or that game because it was their choice. If they really can't wait that month, then that's okay by me as long as they decide not to endlessly talk about it and then proceeding to **** talk about it, trying to defend a stupid mistake no one really cares about nor has mentioned.

However, that would suck if your friend's money is wasted because he's spending more than $50 to play that game three weeks earlier.

End of Day seems pretty cool, very appropriate for Olimar at least.

I have to say, this is probably the best final smash that they've linked to a character. The only problem is what if you're not on his world? What if you're on... say, Brinstar and then he flys up in his space ship. Where the hell would those boogers come from?!? The lava?!?
