Played FFR with Rock Band Drums
I decided to hook up my Wii Rock Band II drum kit to my computer. I wrote a quick, very simple script to make the pads the arrow keys.
I would have to say, it's harder than it looks. XD I video taped it also, uploaded it on youtube. Here's the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNUC-Ps2d2Q |

Re: Played FFR with Rock Band Drums
Why would you take the time to write a script when you could just use Xpadder?

Re: Played FFR with Rock Band Drums
I am actually working on a script for the Guitar. I kind of haven't worked on it in like 2 days though, but once I get back home and settled, I will continue working on it. I tried playing FOTBB on the drums and it was near impossible. The jacks at the beginning were quite easy, but after...... Oh god.
I'm not using any thirdparty programs because why go through the trouble of downloading something, installing it, learning how to use it, then complaining when it doesn't work exactly how you want it to. When you can just write your own program, no downloads, no installation, you know exactly how to use it, and it does exactly what you want it to do. I'm also working on a little drum machine for the drum set, I will upload it to my site when I get it done... I will link you guys when it's done. http://www.autohotkey.net/~Eedis/ |
