computer = gay = help?
This is the best place i can put this.
I doubt anyone will take me seriuosly though. Ok, so i got puzzle bobble online, because it looked cool. Opened it up, no one was in, closed it. My computer's colors are now TOTALLY screwed up. It's like twice as dark, and i'm not sure what to do. My drivers are Nvida something for windowsME. I think it's the colors, but i dont know how to fix it. any help?

Start -> Shut Down -> Restart?

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |

Tried turning your monitor on and off?
Only if you magnetized it. So I guess, check all your colors and video settings, in contrast (no pun) with the Puzzle Bobble ones.

RE: computer = #$* = help?
at least you got puzzle bobble to work. No one even attempted to acknowledge the fact that I needed help.-insert cursing and whining-

You have Windows ME? First step: get rid of that if you have it.
Next step, pull out your video card and put it back in. That solved problems when I was having trouble. It may not be a hardware problem, but it's an easy solution that's worth a shot. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

RE: computer = #$* = help?
A game like Puzzle Bobble probably needs something retarded like 256 colors to run, and it just screwed up your color scheme. Try this.
On your desktop: Right click-> Properties-> Settings. On the bottom right there should be a setting for "color quality." Just click on it and make sure it's set to 32 Bit color. That's the most likely reason, as it's happened to me before. If that doesn't work, come back and tell me then. |

The question is, can you keep playing Puzzle Bobble? It's a really fun game.
