Re: The Speedrunning Thread
I don't watch Super Metroid that often, but I'm really happy I tuned in for that. Easily one of the most incredible and exciting races ever in a marathon.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Just noticed Minecraft is on the list for today. Uhhhhh whut? o.o since when is there an ending to Minecraft? I'm curious to see what exactly counts as a speedrun for a game like that.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Just got back from work. So glad there have been delays as it means I only missed 50 minutes of Cosmo's run.
edit: Just had my comment in chat deleted for mentioning enjoying a cigarette after finishing work and watching this run LMAO

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Looks like Wind Waker HD just isn't interesting enough of a run to draw the additional viewers. I thought Cosmo's name would carry it alone but it doesn't really.
I would really like to see him work on MST or something like that. That would be really awesome. |

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Yeah I saw. I had no idea that was considered an actual ending to Minecraft since I've never bothered doing it myself. I hardly ever play vanilla anymore since it's so boring compared to all the mods lol.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
So it looks like Skyrim and SM64 got the most viewers (100k-102k), kind of surprising. Glad that peaches got so much attention though, the guy deserves it, D o o M 64 needs more viewership.
My highly recommended runs: Super Metroid F-Zero GX Punch-Out!! Super Punch-Out!! Super Mario 64 1handed Other recommendations: Barkley's Shut up and Jam! Gaiden (minus Naegleria commentary, gets more annoying as time goes on) Deus Ex Half-Life A Link to the Past Symphony of the Night Any% Metroid Prime (Zoid commentary rulz) Metroid Zero Mission low% (underrated, hard to follow up Super Metroid though) I have a lot of other runs to watch/rewatch so this isn't a complete list by any means |

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
So after watching the VOD of Zero Mission I learned that Dragondarch and Dragonfangs are not the same person
My mind is so blown

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
I gotta say that run was pretty amazing, though I didn't like the runner's tone on a lot of his statements. Seemed like kind of a dick sometimes.
