I'm going to calculate winnings for this round and then work on the final round. That could take a while, I'll have it done by tomorrow at least.

x_egeltje_x is going hard for that overall credits lead. Hey seeing as I got 2nd on the overall credits lead that makes me happy D1 and D2 have the leading 2 in credits.

I think 648 shares is quite excessive for a lone AAA, and the AAA rounds were weighted way too much. No other round had more than 120 shares for a single player.

Especially when a combined 45 AAA's earns a combined 493 shares.

I think it's because in both mine and egeltje's AAA rounds we were the only ones to submit. So the lone AAA counted a lot more because nobody else had one.

OK I'LL EXPLAIN

So basically, each division has 7 songs with varied difficulties. This round will last 10 days. Scoring will be done as follows:

Each division will have a set amount of shares to distribute, these amounts are weighted to give each division the same total number of shares. This amount may vary as I try to fix the share issue mentioned in post 708.

To determine the number of shares per player, assume n is the number of players in the division. First place for each song is worth n points, second is worth n-1 points, and last is worth 1 point. The point total at the end of the round for each player divided by the total points distributed is the portion of the credit total each player receive. In the case of the tie, both players will receive the higher of the two possible point amounts and the player after the tie will receive a lower amount of points.

Ex. Two players both AAA in a 7-player division, where everyone else gets different scores

The AAAers both get 7, the players after get 5,4,3,2, and 1 point respectively.

Hope this isn't too confusing :P
