Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
i don't mean typos and grammatical errors so much as leaving behind evidence that a sentence has been edited in some way. extra inserted words that didn't get deleted or changed during the proofreading process
it doesn't matter anymore because it turns out the error i was focusing on earlier in the game wasn't even an error. now i just want to know to satisfy myself |

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
an example of a shroop (again, I don't think these are ever worth looking for, typos are different things and are significantly more common) is as follows
a wolf, overly worried about how they appear, types a long message, with a following excerpt from it: "the townspeople won't let wolves do as they please; the villagers will stop them" upon rereading the message before posting it, the wolf edits the sentence minorly, focusing on one word, which ends up breaking the whole sentence flow, inadvertently making it more awkward. the sentence now reads "We won't let the wolves do whatever they want. Townspeople will stop them." Now, the sentence is more awkward, even though its just a minor difference from before. People who don't know how to scumhunt would point to the second sentence's awkwardness, and say its a shroop that only wolves make shroops make several assumptions that I think are pretty false 1) that all wolves read over all of their posts thoroughly 2) that no villagers read over their posts thoroughly 3) that wolves make minor mistakes in edits a lot more often than villagers 4) typos don't exist basically, they're somehow worse to look for than slips and I kind of can't believe some people try to play the game in that way |

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
2 minutes before eod without a votecount makes you sweat buckets when it's between yourself and someone that did the same mistake as the first game you ever played. Was also super paranoid that wolves would swing the vote because I thought votecount on me was higher than what was given 2 minutes before eod.

I still think Rolf is relatively town-ish based on iso, and I just don't really have that many null or wolf lean reads anymore. |

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
Bid you to look past the sparring that you and Cherry had the previous day phase. They had some real solid conversations on d1 & d2. (After Zucker votes & before Chief votes.) Don't have to do a whole iso, just noting that this seems more or less based off of interaction which went entirely between the both of you.

The only player that stands out to me on zucker is Tank, and they are the third vote on them, so I don't really see why a wolf partner would strike that early. Pre-cop reveal.

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
it just really strikes me as trying to clear a partner on the wagon with how hard they're rejecting the entire possibility what what

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
Then direct it towards the sentence at hand instead of reading it as an ulterior meaning. What do you think is the possibility that a wolf partner would vote against their own, pre-role reveal for what was going to be the lynch for that night?

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
pre-role reveal its not a huge possibility but I could see it happening for a wolf that wanted town cred super early what what

If you want to go down that avenue, I'd suggest checking town reads vs wolf reads on Tank, because I don't recall many town leaning Tank for it. |

Phew, now that it's not 3 hours from EOD or St. Patrick's day, I can actually focus on rereading the thread.
Yes, I'm doing it! |

Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
Much like that last Fire Emblem game and Xiz's mystery bastard game, something can be said about how advantageous it is for wolves having this many posts in the thread.
