They could have just as easily split the circle on Kyogre to make it the omega, and then the words would be in the right order. Reading some Bulbapedia stuff, it doesn't seem like either legendary plays more of a roll in the beginning or end of the world than the other, so it could have gone either way. But, yeah, still a cool design detail. Wouldn't have noticed otherwise. A game with three regions would really be something, yeah. Would have been cool to weave an overarching story through each one. |

I just wish more games did like GSC. Having Kanto to explore in addition to the new Johto was AMAZING. That was the big draw for me. Well, that and the fact that there were plenty of monsters to choose from, but there wasn't yet an unwieldy list that I'd never be able to remember every single one of. I guess third gen wasn't THAT bad, but I understand it's up around 700 right now? That's crazy! I don't know if I'd value potential bugfixes that highly though. What's Nintendo's track record for actually taking care of this stuff? Furthermore having the ability to patch bugs can make devs more lazy in that they figure they can just fix stuff later, after it's already in the consumer's hands. I mean, don't get me wrong, patches are GREAT and I'm glad they're a possibility now, but it's definitely double-edged sword. The idea of a double-remake sounds pretty cool to me. I think I also read somewhere that there's a fan theory that a few of the games happened at the same time. RBY and RSE, I think? And then with GSC and DPP? That could be interesting. I know I'd play this game if it included a 3DS version of Kanto.

Re: Guess what
I just remember me and my sister talking about gen 3 remakes and pondered weather or not they'd try to releases it as an expansion pack instead of a standalone game, with X and Y getting different ones and being able to trek through the area ala gold and silver with kanto. But alas, they are nothing more than pipe dreams as game freak's more predictable than the new guy at chess club.
