All is forgiven. We're on the same side after all.... I think, anyway.
I realized I made that mistake during school today.

Re: Infinity * Zero = Any Number ARGUE HERE
Theres actualy a study on this.
"Any number / Infinity = An indefinitely low number meaning Zero This means, Any number / Infinity = Zero A / I = 0 Change the equation I x 0 = A Infinity times Zero = Any number How is this possible? Anything times Zero has to Equal Zero." I found that in a magazine. |

Probably not a math magazine. btw, that's essentially what was posted in the original post and what was subsequently debunked for 9 pages.

Quote:
There's a problem in your math. A / I = 0 A / I * I = 0 * I A = 0 ...? Mathematically speaking, it's impossible to divide A/B for non-negative real numbers A and B and hope to get 0 without A = 0. Their logic is fallible not only because they treated infinity like a variable, but because they totally butchered the properties of equality by not going through it step by step. Oh but whatever, talisman's on the case.

Re: Infinity * Zero = Any Number ARGUE HERE
Infinity is a symbol that signifies that numbers go on for ever. That is that. Be done with it.

We WERE done with it. The last post in this topic was from March.

I'm locking this because the last thing this thread needs is to be revived.
