I think I can say this is the first pack I cut files and didn't just add files for the sake of having more people in

basically less **** to good ratio

HERE WE GO FINAL REVIEWS. ALSO I CHANGED RATINGS AROUND A LOT SO EVEN IF I REVIEWED YOUR FILES LOOK AGAIN DD

[Scylaax] A Showcage
pros: fun file for the most part, lots of variety
cons: too much rigid keysounding; one very awkward jack in the middle
6/10

[rog] AGAYHA
pros: infinity
cons: infinity
infinity/10

[rog] Ah Shwe Bah
pros: all-around great, although the patterns are kinda random they flow very well and the mines are awesome.
cons: terrible rapper. song keeps me from grading this higher
8/10

[Gundam-Dude] Amaryllis
pros: way better than v1. very well-done
cons: nothing to say other than I guess I wouldn’t play this very much, iuno. also a few parts feel incredibly cramped; it’s fine to sacrifice consistency for flow sometimes
7.5/10

[Kommisar] Arcadian
pros: hey look a scoreboard file that’s actually pretty interesting
cons: I’d complain about the jacks if they weren’t blatantly for scoring.
7/10

[IcyWorld] Artificial Intelligence Bomb
pros: good song, lots of rhythms to keep this interesting throughout.
cons: missed lots of potential for interesting freeze theories. file as a whole could use a little work with the patterns and rhythmical errors
6/10

[Xayphon] Clione
pros: piano part and a lot of the less dense parts are pretty enjoyable
cons: the parts with a buttload of freezes I could live without though. a lot of the double freezes just seem wonky, imo and you’re expressing two different sounds (the bells and the piano chords) the same way, which is really confusing. tone down the bells to just one freeze for each note, and maybe try expressing the piano chords with some hands? just some thoughts
5/10

[rog] Cocaine Voltron
pros: it’s good. just the right length for this kind of song
cons: doesn’t feel completely natural in a few parts
7/10

[Niala] Colibri
pros: very fun for how relatively simple it is
cons: WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE THOSE JACKS (ESPECIALLY THE END)
6/10

[Kommisar] Computer Music
I know you’ve played this file before
Nothing new but oh so magical

this song unintentionally summed itself up
7/10

[Detrimentalist] Cory in the House
pros: midare would be very proud
cons: none that come to mind
Disney/10

[Gundam-Dude] Crescendo
pros: surprisingly quite fun
cons: guitar solo is actually kind of awkward. also Kommisar will quad this tomorrow before I do
7/10

[npv] Dajoolggeh
pros: well-stepped and short enough to be enjoyable, K-pop
cons: file’s kinda cramped.
6.5/10

[Detrimentalist] Disconnected HaZaRD
pros: ..at least there aren't any 12ths
cons: random patterns leading to 8th jacks longer than a presidential address and a 16th jack out of nowhere
5/10

[0] Disconnected HaZaRD
pros: made a playable file for this song. commendable.
cons: wretched 12ths
6.5/10

[Asphyxzero] Do Back Burn
pros: old-school and fun. strangely the hands fit
cons: missed a few interesting nuances that could have been fun to express. some iffy jack usage
7/10

[Duplica] Doorbellsplosion
pros: nice beginning, solid song choice
cons: gets seriously hard to follow after that though. idk maybe I need to play this again
5/10

[Rin-Dude] ENRAPTURED SOULZ
pros: (Heavy) short and sweet
cons: (Heavy) why oh why is this file impossible for me to MA
(didn’t play Oni nor do I intend on doing so)
7.5/10

[bmah] EXTREMA PT.2
pros: not going to lie I actually enjoyed this a lot for what it was
cons: that trill is going to be a pain in my ass eternally
8/10

[Xayphon] Fast Asleep
pros: streets ahead of Clione. plenty of replayability
cons: same notes apply for freezes
7.5/10

[John11] Fleet of the Littleships
pros: fun swing
cons: there are parts which feel a little empty. also straightlayering
5/10

[moches] Futurism
refraining from judging

[Scylaax] Hiyayaka ICE
pros: solid file. great for MA
cons: tbh anyone who quit out after the first loop didn’t miss out on much
6.5/10

[Cyrenics] I Turn to You
pros: started and ended very strong. good freeze usage throughout
cons: 24ths could flow a little better, a few confusing jumps in more layered sections. entire file is very minimalistic and so these denser sections need to flow very well or they’ll stick out like a sore thumb
irrelevant: I’m flattered for the comparison :’)
6/10

[Xayphon] In Love With You
pros: accurate and good for scoring
cons: so long
4.5/10

[rog] Innocence
pros: SICK file.
cons: kinda random patterns
7.5/10

[Baq12] Intensive Care Unit
pros: good rhythms, fun to play
cons: awkward file
6/10

[wc] Intermission
pros: I took this time to take a drink of water
cons: I got water poisoning
emergency room/10

[Kommisar] Intersect Thunderbolt
pros: good flow, good file
cons: for some unknown reason I cannot MA this
7/10

[Gpop] Last Remote
pros: a whole lotta fun, all of the patterns fit well
cons: long freezes are a bit iffy; those parts of the file feel much more sparse compared to the rest
7/10

[IcyWorld] Liberi Fatali
pros: once it gets going it’s not half bad
cons: freeze usage could be a LOT better. a few really hard rolls, a few slow parts
5/10

[Kraezymann] Lucid Rhythms
pros: haha max combo is 666. enjoyable for beginners
cons: doesn’t entirely come into its own. jump usage seems like your basic keysounding, and a lot of your pattern arrangement leads to arbitrarily placed jacks. still enjoyable, could have been better.
6.5/10

[Kommisar] Lucid Rhythms
pros: yay a simple fun file
cons: since when is stepping Plaguefox music the “in” thing. also rearrange the mines in the pianer section so they don’t overlap with the notes
7.5/10

[Dimentio] Lunatic Gaze
pros: interesting approach to the song, but it works
cons: uh a few bursts are pretty hard compared to the rest
7/10

[wc] Mastication Numérique
pros: awesome. very unique file
cons: none really. I’d whine about the 48th swing but the entire file is pretty blatantly scorebait so it works
8/10

[Rin-Dude] MENTAL MELTDOWN
pros: really really fun
cons: some of the patterns could have been better
8.5/10

[moches] Multi-Man Melee 2
my file. note: easy quadbait file

[Detrimentalist + Yotipo91] My Crutch
pros: the version without a bunch of freezes everywhere is good. simple and clean 7/10
cons: the version with a bunch of freezes is near unplayable. 4/10

[Kommisar] Nix-Tek
pros: super cool file !!! also one of the only files in here with any good usage of jacks
cons: none it's pretty great
8.5/10

[Scylaax + Paexaea] Perditus Paradisius
pros: this file reminds me of Nemesis. iuno why (maybe all the bursts and whatnot)
cons: 24th jack. never again.
6.5/10

[Wineandbread] Rambling Feather
pros: file works pretty well overall. solid mine usage
cons: inconsistent use of minifreezes and jumps
7/10

[Haru-ko] Sequentia
pros: intense chorus. enjoyed all of the patterns
cons: offsync or something. needs more intense hands and less double freeze abuse
6.5/10

[Gundam-Dude] Shoreline
pros: alright this file’s grown on me
cons: solo is half-assed
7/10

[Scylaax] Snakeman Stage
pros: better than Tornadoman. enjoyed the whole thing quite a bit.
cons: still think a few steps feel outta place but w/e
7/10

[rog] Songs for Dead Malls
pros: best Nero's Day file and rog's best. honestly if I had stepped it it couldn't have been any better
cons: nada
8.5/10

[wc] Star Scat
pros: awesome song and file
cons: a few mines err dangerously close to being invasive
8/10

[Wyde] The Black Monster
pros: okay this was pretty fun
cons: some quad usage is kinda wacked out, jacks could have been a lot better. lotsa cool background noises you missed
6/10

[wc] The Final Hour
pros: good file to tap out, very good patterns although they’re obv. kinda random
cons: there’s only so much you can do with 16ths
6/10

[rog] The Island Part II
pros: fun xmods, also really cool mines
cons: trill of doom
7/10

[Scylaax] Tornadoman Stage
pros: some parts are bad but other parts ruled
cons: sooo cramped. if you want to layer all of these in then step solo.
5/10

[Puppet] Venom Theme
pros: EXTREME FILE.
cons: NEEDS AN EASIER VERSION
7.5/10

[Rebound] Witchcraft
pros: much better than I remember. good jacking file
cons: still kinda generic, freezes at the end jack up the difficulty a good deal
7/10

[Dimentio] The Ultimate Show
pros: good end to the Dimentio legacy. mildly fun and scoreboard worthy
cons: you tricky bastard
7/10

The reason why plaugemix music is "in" is because I'm a homosexual.
