because it's interesting
most .exes are 90% white noise and only the last 10% are interesting to listen to. this .exe though imports as 4 minutes long with the first 1:30 being white noise and assorted clicks. the soundcloud is a snippet. also it looks cool too |

This is actually pretty neat.
But, I'm curious; how exactly do you get audio from a .exe like this? Seems like fascinating stuff as a whole.

import exe into audacity as raw data, u-law encoding, endian doesnt matter, stereo doesnt matter
you can do this for literally any file format and if you do it with bitmap files, you can corrupt the data by applying effects to the audio example |
