Because his skill was D2 and he skillboosted, we don't punish people for practicing and doing well in the tournament.

Synth might be making the screen white. Probably the cleanest way I can describe what he's doing.

After having spent approximately a week's worth of vacation living in clogged toilets filled with the yellow peepee water of doom, I felt it was time to escape the sewage and see the light..

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 5!
Me coming home from school: Welp, last day for this round of the FFR tourney, let's see if I can get a few runs in today.
FFR Servers: Nope. ಠ_ಠ Just a note to the people saying things like "you shouldn't wait until the last day, you had a whole week - hurr hurr hurr" and other things of the sort: FFR has been on and off for me basically any time I've tried to play. I refuse sit in front of an engine that is down 9 times out of 10 and refresh flashplayer until I can get a run or two in before it goes down again. If you have the patience to mindlessly sit in front of a computer screen for hours on end in order to get your play-throughs on the tourney song in, kudos to you. Please understand that I, and many others alike, don't have an infinite abundance of free time at our disposal. Imagine if the situation was the other way around --- if the site happened to be constantly fluctuating like it is now at the BEGINNING of the round, I'm sure EVERYONE would be agree for the round to be extended. This kind of attitude leads me to believe these people are just frightened that giving players the extra time (that they rightfully deserve) might put them at risk. I just want my time man /End rant |

If you have your song loaded in the engine even if the site goes down you can keep playing that song as long as you don't exit out. The site hasn't been down for any extended period of time. I'm not saying it's not annoying that it's been up and down but it's not as if it's been down for a full day or even several hours at a time. Extending a full day isn't giving you the rightfully deserved time because it hasn't been a full day and I can't determine and exact number of hours. Plus every competitor has been victim to this issue so it's not as if there's someone unaffected by it.

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 5!
Anyone else lagged all the week and stopped lagging only on runs where the site was down? If I hadn't tons of mindblocks by this point it would be an ideal time to get a score..
ps: if Salitz gets more time, everyone gets more time. Where's the down side? |

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 5!
Extending the round screws up everything with the dash and scheduling of the tournament for one. Two people may not be able to play tonight because of outside responsibilities so if the round is extended you potentially screw those people out of a spot. The fact is the site has not been down for an extended period of time, if it had been I would have extended.

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 5!
I'm going to do something for the people eliminated this round anyway. I just may not release it tonight with the site being wonky. Maybe wait a day idk yet. I need to see how things go.

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 5!
If people tie for 8th and 9th, they both just go on and play for top 8 right next round right?

Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 5!
No in prize rounds you don't get to play into the next round for top 8. You'll have 24 hours for a tiebreaker.
