I'm aware this has been done before, but i am taking a different approach. I didn't really want to make a poll for the 770+ songs or however many there may be now, but i do want to hear a collective vote from the community as to the best 5 files on FFR. If you chose to partake in the vote, please state the song and who it's been stepped by.

For example,
My vote goes to:

5. Choprite - Brilliant Dynamite Neon

GGC would've been on my list, but it wasn't quite as fun before it was restored. Feel free to put it on your list. (or anything for that matter)

Now for the cool part. I will be making a list of the step artists named in every post and put the songs by that artist under his/her name. I will be keeping track of the number of votes each song gets. This thread will be updated daily (excluding fridays). On new years day, the voting will end and the winners will be announced.

Post (relevance please) as much as you like, just don't vote twice. Oh, and please, think before you post.

Depending on the reaction to this thread, prizes may be awarded to the winners in order to encourage other artists to make high-quality files. Heh, if this goes well, there might even be one next December. Thanks!

it's on the to-do list.

ps - there aren't 800+ songs, even including widget only. there are about 770... and then 200 or so are widget only. there's what... 410ish public? plus 91 ST and 28 T? That's 520ish total available public levels... so that makes about 250 widget-only files.

While we are up to level 810+, there are ~45 numbers skipped from the early days. I've made sure we never skip another level again though, and since I took over, we've got 600+ levels added with 0 skips.

Devonin: Good question, favorite steps or favorite steps/music will work.
For me, great steps and great music beats amazing steps horrible song.

Some people may disagree if they play with the volume off...
