Re: Show your sketching!
Thanks the thong!
Realized. Did this with pen at work and added the white with pastel at home. Going to start working with pastel more often I really love the way the white and the shadow on the white came out

Re: Show your sketching!
Haha yeah I tried fixing that a bit already but I already went over it with a dark pencil, so it was hard to erase. I tried my best to fix it and I can't be arsed anymore right now lol

Re: Show your sketching!
This is the quickest I've ever done one of these types of projects... I got the tires done and most things outlined last night, then I've been working nonstop since 7:30am this morning, trying to get 3 posters with it done before 7:30pm before the print shop closes. ASJLFHALSJHg A lot of the shading is off but I literally have NO time to fix that

Re: Show your sketching!
My dad did this in 45 minutes with a normal shit pen, a newspaper (he somehow shades with newspaper, never watched him draw), a playing card for a ruler and a printer sheet, so nothing pro here. He has no creativity, but damn his he good at eye copying. It's like he can copy something like this without ****ing around at all. It's instinctive. Wish I had this ability... I told a friend about his skills, and she gave her girlfriend's picture to him so she could have a hand drawn portrait and paid him 50$, my dad called her one hour later with this... xD

Re: Show your sketching!
To be able to see an image and reinterpret it onto paper with something else takes a lot of creativity :P that's awesome though. Newspaper would be pretty easy to use. You could even get interesting cross hatch shading using columns : o

Re: Show your sketching!
Cross hatching has no shading but uses the difference in negative space to give the illusion of tones.
And with text it might be interesting i.e (though that's not cross hatched, but you can now imagine what it might be like to use newspaper to do so)
