Thumbs down Bye Video-Games..

Video games...You stole my life at the age of 5...
Video games...You made me completely lazy...
Video games...You made me a man under a dark rock...
Video games...You made me unhealthy...
Video games...You disappointed the people that love me...
Video games...You made me stupid...
Video games...You made me weak...

Video games, I'm calling it quits. No longer you will control what I want to do. Bye Xbox 360, Bye Xbox Live, Bye Halo 3 Lvl 46 Double Teams, Bye WoW Level 70 in epics, Bye.

Done with you, you were fun, but destroyed me.

Check your constitution. I've people do this same thing and then about three months later they're back buying systems and games again. You have to have the will to conquer your demons.

It isn't the video game's fault you're all those things, it is soley your fault. Don't sell things you like to do just simply play them less. If you seriously feel the need to play games...games arn't addicting...just fun and people who are "addicted" to them simply just really enjoy plaing them and just need to do other things.

@dragoonhead I haven't showered in weeks, I knew I smelled funny

@Ryanistehleet 16 going on 17, 11th grade, you wouldn't imagine how bad I messed up in High School for now

@SethSquall quite a bit of money isn't it?

@fido123 yes it is my fault, but I'm gonna blame video games anyway > and yes they are addicting, sitting home playing games for 12 hrs straight on the summer vacation is EXTREMELY addicting, thats why I find throwing it all away will help me

Hi, I'm 16 and my life has been destroyed by video games. I won't go into detail about the consequences of playing them, but I can say that I would be much more developed physically, mentally and socially if I never started playing them, or played less than 2 hours a day. Video games took all of my time and have given me nothing. The OP describes it quite accurately. Now I'm trying to find interesting activities to occupy the time I would spend playing video games. I'll try to stop playing time consuming games soon and stick with games you can play for a short period of time (like Touhou games).

Yes they are and that's what's bad about them. Maybe I should go play a sport, read a book or do my homework... nah I'll just spend 6 hours a day pressing buttons with minimal brain activity. Take a break? **** no, I could be leveling my character during this time.

Edit: Ok I wouldn't say destroyed, but really, playing video games causes many bad long-term effects.

Don't leave the video game world completely. Yes, video games have done all those things to me, but I feal like it's worth it, cause I got school and I learn alot and I am losing weight and whatnot. Video Games shouldn't take up too much of your life, but a small portion. Video games are one of the best timewasters cause they can be so fun.

You need to distribute your time so that you can do everything for a decent amount of time. Don't deprive yourself completely of games, yet try to stay in your home for less than half a day, when you can.
