Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
I made an account named ELRayford. Uploading "dance" genres now. After I get those uploaded then I will upload hip-hop/rap, then Reggaeton. After all is said and done my goal is to get all 25 GB uploaded.

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
It uploaded like a library that's 100 years old. None of the songs I listen to are on it, and I get really pissed. The "Makeup" things are from when I was makeup crew manager about 10 months ago and we would play it when we were getting people ready for their stage performance in the fall play (that's how old that library is-- I emailed a guy and asked him how I could fix it so that anywhere.fm would pick up on my current library but I haven't found a solution yet)

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
Eva, you probably have an old itunes library stored in My Documents/My Music/ITunes. Try deleting one, make sure your itunes still works (if not you can restore it from the recycle bin) and if you can determine which is your old library and delete it, then you can get it to upload your current one.

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
I consolidated my library to the iTunes folder... so I don't know if that's necessarily the problem. It should be in the same folder.

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
Holy ****, thanks for this alainbryden, you do a much better job keeping on track with everything.
I was trying to upload some Jack's Mannequin and Something Corporate on Sunday but it kept timing out. I'll get back to it later. Right now I'm uploading some Ella Fitzgerald. As if it wasn't obvious, I'm trying to keep a pop-esque theme on my stuff. I might slowly start diverging into jazz, though. I have too much jazz I want to share and I think anywhere.fm could use a LOT more jazz. And it'd probably be popular, too. One of the most popular people on the site has a jazz playlist and it has the best plays to song number ratio out of all her playlists, and all she has is Bill Evans and some other artist I don't know! After Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin, expect to see some Frank Sinatra 8)

By rating them 4 or 5 stars in iTunes.

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
yeah the site itself doesn't have any rating feature yet.
Jurs, I didn't mean the actual song locations. The library isn't actually made up of your songs in their folders, it's a single file which keeps track of every song in your library, what its rating is, how many times it's been played, and where it's stored on your computer. If you once uninstalled and reinstalled itunes without importing your old library, then you may have more than one of these files. This will be where the importer is finding your old library. |

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
Im all of 100 songs away for being done for now. (TOOK FOREVER but im fairly happy with the outcome) and Im doing duel advertising that of my radio site on www.teensagainstporn.com and advertising them here :P k done with that listen to me . BTW yesterday's listen was 6LiveFree9
6LiveFree9 First songs I already had but I like them so no big deal :P, Your style of music is very similar to the majority of mine . Good stuff also got me to get more music.. I always need excuses and yours was mine XP. Wow you've got some really good stuff, with the occasional random oldie/ MJ song XP. For the most part this is something I could listen to at pretty much any time. Thanks for gracing us with this. (p.s. Id be willing to trade some music for the following artists) Plus-44 The Almost Cold Matchbook Romance Celldweller trapt Boys Like Girls Drowning Pool Paramore Hellogoodbye (Been a day :P, could always update the formula adlp is today's )

Re: Taking over Anywhere.FM
When I get back home I'm planning on putting up more songs than just my own. ><
But I try to stay original, so I plan on making another folder for the rest of whatever I'm uploading and naming it "Interesting". |

Yeah, I'm uploading all my music an album at a time. So much easier to keep track of.
