Star Trek
i wasnt really into stark trek. Yeah i watched it. Wasnt really caught into it. then i hear there making another movie. So i see the trailer a few months ago, and it actually looks good. Even though they only show the Enterprise being built, but seeing it like this makes it look worth watching. Movie takes place on their first mission which totally caught my attention. J.J. was suppose to show some footage on it at Comic Con, but he says their not quite ready..and the trailer said it would be coming out 'this year'. Then it got pushed to 'next year' (nice..). Just recently they posted a few new pictures showing some of the crew:

Re: Star Trek
Simon Pegg will either be the best Scotty ever, or butcher it and lose a whole section of his fairly nerdy fanbase.

Re: Star Trek
I like the new one "Enterprise" that's out, but I never really watched the older versions.. so I guess I can't really compare it. Hopefully this new movie will turn out okay.

Re: Star Trek
Yeah I don't know what happened. The acting sucked pretty bad though, especially the main character, Captain Archer. The Vulcan's were the only ones that knew how to play their roles.

Re: Star Trek
THe onyl Star Trek I ever watched was Voyager and even that I didn't have the upmost intrest in. Looking back the only reason i watched it was because its what my dad was watching on the tube. Anyways as for this movie I doubt I'll go see it, but then again I do go out to see movies I know I'll hate just for the hell of it sometimes.

Re: Star Trek
I've been a big fan of the original star trek tv series and movies and next generation series and movies, and I'm really looking forward to seeing this new star trek movie.

Re: Star Trek
I've always thought The original star trek (with Kirk and spock) and the next generation were the only good star treks. Deep space nine was lame, Voyager was ok. I enjoyed the Augment mini-series on Enterprise, but thats about it from Enterprise.
Movie looks good though, my dad is a huge fan so i might take him to it depending on when it comes out next year.

Re: Star Trek
yeah they reason why voyager was pretty lame (especially the last seasons) was because it was mainly focused on war with the Romulans? I think. im not sure

Re: Star Trek
I'll wait and get it on netflix. Though, I only watched Star Trek a few times with my parents back when I was like 7. I was too busy playing Star Fox 64 to watch it lol.

Re: Star Trek
Just saw the movie. It has the right amount of comedy, action, and tragedy. It's a very entertaining movie, and I think it's the best Star Trek movie. Everyone should go see it.
