Redirecting
Most of the time, when I try to access my profile from the forum, or go to the homepage (FlashFlashRevolution.com) from from the forum, I keep getting this issue:
It is because I run V3 Forum Background thing I think. Can it be fixed? Edit: Can an admin change me off of the V3 Forum Thing? I can't edit my account settings, only my profile settings. When i say I can't, I mean there's nothing to edit on the screen. Chrome says the page is finished loading, but none of my info is there, including the button that changes my Forum off V3. Pls admin halp Last edited by Rapta; 07-4-2014 at 07:29 AM.. Reason: I am subject to being through annoyances at all tiems. |

Computer tech here.
Old tricks: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ht=Clear+Cache You'll have to look up information on clearing Chrome cookies. A fast way to do that is to use CCleaner. (Via Piriform.) New tricks: Could be a Chrome extension/add-on causing problems. Double check and see what extensions are installed and report back to let us know if any of this fixed the issue. (settings menu -> Settings -> Extensions) EDIT: Fixed user's problem. Logging this as a PEBKEC problem with the user. Reset the forum theme from V4 to V3 (Forum Default), and everything is working well. Ticket closed.

Re: Redirecting
CCleaner is probably the most useless tool I have ever encountered on the internet, for such high acclaim it receives. I wouldn't recommend anyone use it that isn't aware that they need to uncheck like half the things it wants to permanently delete from their system. Also, ever CCleaner installer I have ever encountered is a PUP of some sort, even the official installer comes with "Free Google toolbar for Internet Explorer" that you need to opt out of. It's just a very dirty process...
That said, I'm pretty sure a trained monkey could clear cache/cookies on chrome.
