Re: The Riddle Thread
Congratulations, Vishnal!
For an easier time, you all should have realized that 5 and 7 can't both be true, so 4 and 8 were automatically false. Then, it just took simple deduction. Your turn then.

Re: The Riddle Thread
Here's one that I'm not sure if you've heard of, but I like it.
This man was in a room where the window and door were both locked from the inside, he was in the center of the room hanging from a rope, and the rest of the room was empty, all except for a drying puddle of water, how did the man die?? |

Um... this one might be easy, but... here goes.
My backside has feathers, my neck long and thin. My nose is pointy, like the tip of a pin. I fly in the sky, yet possess no wings. Whenever I swoop, I often pierce things. Sometime's I'm brown, and other times white. What is my name? Can you get it right? |

Re: The Riddle Thread
Riddle:
Two convicts are locked in a cell. There is an unbarred window high up in the cell. No matter if they stand on the bed or one on top of the other they can't reach the window to escape. They then decide to tunnel out. However, they give up with the tunneling because it will take too long. Finally one of the convicts figures out how to escape from the cell. What is his plan? |

Re: The Riddle Thread
Well if they're tunneling out they must have some tools available. A better description of the cell would be nice.
They either pile up the dirt to reach the window or use the tools to hack into the wall and make grips so they can climb up and out of the window. alternatively with their new found muscles from digging they practice throwing eachother from ontop of their shoulders till someone can reach the window. XD Since they have the bed, this would be the easiest to do if you bounce. The other guy would then have to get something to pull the other one up, though. I think you could use the matress cover to create something long enough to throw up to the guy outside. IF they still can't reach the window doing this then the window is really ****ing high up and piling dirt is going to take foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr, so maybe chipping off grips into the wall would work better unless its too hard to do that. I'm going to assume their cell is not monitored, which is silly since the window is open >_> Is the bed bolted down? Maybe you could turn the bed on its long side and put it against the wall. Then put the mat on top of that to get a really huge ladder. Should be able to easily climb up then, and then have a guy stand on the other guy to get up no problem. If you needed a rope or something you could maybe rip apart the matress cover and throw it up to the guy you got out first. They could use the clothes they have on, too, unless they're naked.

Re: The Riddle Thread
If Reach is wrong, I declare your riddle to be a piece of crab, because she just gave four or five good ways to escape.

And Reach is right, he piled up the dirt to reach the window. As far as a shortage goes, if he keeps digging he'll probably have enough.

Re: The Riddle Thread
Someone else already got that riddle:
It's Inkstand ("in" the beginning, "kst", "and" at the end) And this is a riddle thread BECAUSE I SAID SO.
