South Park S15:ep7 You're getting old
So I decided to watch the newest episode of south park and honestly, it was one of the most depressing thing I have seen in my life. It almost made me cry thinking about how I used to watch south park season 1 with my friends and we would laugh over the stupid fart jokes and now all those friends are gone and all the things that I used to like as a kid really do seem terrible now. I've really been in a conflict lately and can't seem to find anything interesting to do because it all seems so boring.
Guess I'm going to have to fall asleep while being depressed from nostalgia. Goodnight. |

That isn't really the point though. Try watching this episode and you'll see.

I used to hate south park cause i was watching translated french version of it. Now that i can watch it in english i find it funny. Fart jokes suck though...
The worst thing about growing up is to realize your taste in everything is changing, or should i say evolving. We are the product of society, so we evolve to fit in our environnement. |

Re: South Park S15:ep7 You're getting old
K-pop kept my busy for a while
and then I stopped caring about finding out about new groups and stuff now I just care about the ones I already liked but Girls' Generation for example has an awesome international forum with a bunch of subbed vids so I just watch them. They can get boring after a while though so I watch Korean variety shows or something. idk. .... but yeah K-pop can keep you busy if you get like obsessed. Right now I'm in between being a fan and being obsessed. Right in the middle... |

Re: South Park S15:ep7 You're getting old
I haven't seen that episode, but if you're depressed because your friends are gone (dead or just moved away?), realize that people will come and go. So get out there and make some new friends and realize it'll always be an ongoing process.
Don't think of it as losing friends (unless they died) because you're still most likely friends if you ever see each other again. Think of it as an opportunity to be more social and get even more friends. Try to find a group or club that you like, if it helps. |

I think you hit the wrong thread there, buddy.
I'm actually looking forward to the new season. I wonder what they have planned after that last season ender.

Yeah, I hope these new episodes are bomb. Out of the recent ones I liked the Jersey episode and Insheeption haha, and also episodes 200 and 201.

Re: South Park S15:ep7 You're getting old
I would like to add into this that.... South Park I really don't think is awful and still I see the humor in alot of the episodes unlike the family guy counterpart which seems desperate to try to get a laugh. What Izzy means is that the episode itself is actually really ****ing depressing. I mean it delivers the humor the way it should BUT the entire episode itself is actually quite sad, but it leads up to the other half of the season as to the viewers want to know WTF is going to happen.
Also like to point out that this episode is a direct reflection of how Matt is running out of ideas and that making more south park episodes is a "living hell" but they are contractually oblidged to keep making episodes all the way through 2013. So they don't want to dish out the episodes you consider crappy, they have to. tl;dr I still find south park funny. Last episode is depressing. Not the creators fault.

Re: South Park S15:ep7 You're getting old
not really.
it's more like saying... there are other things out there you can learn to like if you get tired of something you're bored with. Personally, I never gave a shit about South Park but I can kinda relate in the sense that Cartoon Network has changed a lot since I was a kid but I've found different things to enjoy instead of moaning and groaning about how shitty some of my childhood favorites are now u just gotta move on and get the **** over it. lol |

Re: South Park S15:ep7 You're getting old
I grew up watching this and thought the same thing as Izzy. South Park has really gotten much better throughout each new season. Going from construction paper to making episodes in less than a day is really amazing. The last episode before the season continues tomorrow was really depressing and made me realize that the show might be winding down.
I heard that the creators were getting bored of South Park and want to try doing something else for a change. South park has had an amazing run though.

Re: South Park S15:ep7 You're getting old
Being a person who has seen every episode, i can say they have definitely changed everything. It feels like season 13 was the start of it. They advanced for awhile, (graphics wise and story wise) and then got stale. Still a genius show (gotta love the Cthulhu episodes) just easily predictable now.
I hope the rest of the recent season is good. 1 day, 4 hours, and 22 minutes until the next episode airs. |

Re: South Park S15:ep7 You're getting old
I always watched it when my parents weren't around, I'd get grounded if I did. Course I wasn't allowed to watch Power Rangers or TMNT. Personally, I have not watched it a whole lot the past few years. I started to re-watch the seasons and got bored. My favorite episode is the Tourettes episode.

Re: South Park S15:ep7 You're getting old
So the follow up episode was aired. It was really weird because it had a lot of funny things but at the same time it was serious.
