Re: A Talk With God
Many people who have claimed to speak with god have been thrown in a psych ward by Christians. True story.

Yes, and that's what I've gathered. You had a conversation with yourself. You'll deny that but it's exactly what it was, you talking to yourself..in your head. That's it. I'd say you're almost borderline schizophrenic.

Re: A Talk With God
Um, no? In fact, I openly stated twice, DURING the conversation I was having it with myself, and twice during this thread.
I'm not sure where you're getting my denial of that fact, but you need to read a little more closely. You are just repeating what I've already said. You're being too literal, the title is just that, a title, not the forward for the god damn paper. |

I was not, however, very clear about what "the rest" meant. This was part of a 4 part multi genre multi voiced memoir about my experience understanding the world around me. The other part I could post is a bigger journal entry, which might help people understand why I wrote this in the first place. I'm going to leave it up to you guys whether I post it or not... |

Re: A Talk With God
The air quotes where there for a reason. Also when I use the name "God" I mean the God I refer to in my paper, which is in my head.

Re: A Talk With God
This reminds me of Conversations With God, by Neale Donald Walsh. Good read by the way, you don't have to really agree with it either to get something meaningful out of it.

I love how you're quoting yourself, acting like it's a different person
