No, these are only ATPs. They aren't worth any TPs, but you can get pretty high on the amateur list from them if you want.

Tass, no you don't. Even guru's songs should be worth ATPs, they should just have easier reqs that would be worth tons of ATPs. Like this:

(40) - Over 900,000
(30) - Over 800,000

This is separate from the bonus tier point. Maybe a SDG on Mario would be like .04 Tier Points. Less than 20 goods .03 Tier Points. Either way, an AAA on Mario or an AAA on Pants are now applied for the bonus, so this point is moot.

Seriously, there is no point. an "amateur" tier system doesnt make any sense. The tier system is supposed to show who has skill. This basically shows the people who have under that skill, to put it lightly.

Frankly, the entire idea is just to make people "feel good" about not being on the list. Im not on the list, and I still feel fine about my ability to play.

i agree with pandaman...tier points are there for everyone to work for them...all what the amateur tier points are doing is taking away more motive to work for the real ones...if you aren't skilled enough then just practice and get better...i mean its not that hard...

I would like to see a ATP system... obviously the better players wouldn't be on it. There'd be a point where if you have say, x amount of ATP's, you aren't included anymore, and have to go to TP.

Take me for instance... I've been playing this game for 4 years and only have 2 tier points... that's why I'd love an ATP system.

hehe, ive been playing 7 months and i only have 38 Tier points, i need to work on mine

But, i don't like the idea of like ATP. Everyone can get TPs if they practice a few hours everyday for a few months =]

i dont understand how you can be against this...

its either you play for amateur tier points, or normal tier points. they are both independant, they have nothing to do with each other.

and doug, there should be tier points for unlocking vrofl =O

Ok, so here's my thought, ATP's should be a WHOLE separate list, a little harder than what you guys have listed, but not too much. The reason why it'd be good to have ATP is to give people encouragement(sp?) to go on and keep playing and strive to get better. There should be a thread of it like the actual tier points, that way the newer people would have to post in the thread to get on the list, and it'd keep all of the good people out.

I'd be willing to make a list of points for levels 1-4 IF anyone who has any power to make this happen takes this idea seriously (ld?), if not I won't bother.

Huh? What's your idea of a "unique" AAA? To me, it would mean that no one else had ever AAA'd the song, but I seriously doubt you have 2 of those type of AAAs.
