Re: TWG LXXX Host Signups
TWG: TOP SECRET FRIENDS!
---- 16 players. ---- Story EVERYONE HAS A TOP SECRET FRIEND! YAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! ---- Humans 7 Humans: humans. Guardian: Guards player of choice from a wolf attack. Color Rees: Seers the targeted player's TSF's color but not their name. Role Rees: Seers the targeted player's TSF's role but not their name. Swapper: Chooses two players to swap TSF's. Cannot pick himself. Impartial: He will receive messages that players may want others to read and will anonymously relay a maximum of 33% of the messages he receives, meaning he must at least receive three messages per phase to be able to distribute any messages whatsoever. The relayed messages are those the impartial human has decided to relay based on anything from pure whim to wolf/human bias. He controls the flow of information. The more messages he receives, the more information you receive! - He is the only player who isn't someone's TSF. - His anonymous form is known to the public. - He could choose to reveal himself at the cost of his ability. - If the impartial human ever becomes a wolf target, the wolfing will fail and a random living player will be selected for an immediate role swap resulting in a new impartial human and whatever role is randomly selected. Relayed Message Format: Messages will not include the sender's name. Messages will be relayed exactly as they were sent. THE LAW. (see below) still applies when sending messages through the Impartial Human. Nobody can edit or change their sent message or send another message after their first and only message has been received to be considered for relaying. ---- Wolves Master Wolf: reeses green. Color Rees: discovers the targetted player's TSF's color. Escape Artist: can save the soon-to-be-lynched player from death. Normal Wolf: sucks to be you. The wolves's spokesperson will be decided through volunteers (if any) and/or lottery. If you want to volunteer to be the spokesperson send the host a PM stating that you'd like to start the game as the spokesperson and a lottery number. Lottery is mandatory for all wolves. LOTTERY The price is right! Whoever gets the closest to the correct price of whatever I show in the PM without going over the price wins! Subordinates will be selected by whoever came second, third and last. ---- THE LAW. Breaking the law will result in immediate exile from the town. No questions asked. I. Publically revealing your own role is illegal. II. Revealing any info about your TSF (name/role/color) in the form of a PM, thread post and/or AIM message is illegal. III. Revealing yourself to your TSF is illegal. IV. Revealing anything about your dead TSF (name/role/color) in the form of a PM, thread post and/or AIM message is illegal. V. Wolfing your TSF is illegal. VI. Voting for your TSF is illegal. PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES (ENSURING THAT NONE OF YOU WILL CHEAT) EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY UNAUTHORIZED TRADE OF INFORMATION. IN AN ATTEMPT TO VOID ANY POSSIBLE CHEATING, PLEASE REPORT ANY UNAUTHORIZED TRADE OF INFORMATION AS STATED BY THE LAW. OF THE TOWN. ALL REPORTS MUST BE SENT IN THE FORM OF A PM TO THE HOST WHICH SHOULD INCLUDE WHO GAVE WHAT INFO TO WHOM, WHEN, AND A LOG PROVING IT. KEEP YOUR AIM LOGS ON WITH TIME STAMPS. I WILL DOUBLE CHECK THE INFORMATION WITH OTHER PLAYERS, TOO. SO, DO NOT LIE. LYING WILL MOST LIKELY HINDER YOUR TEAM AS I WOULD BE SPREADING FALSE INFO THAT CAN'T BE CONFIRMED. THIS GAME'S SUCCESS RELIES ON YOUR HONESTY AND ACTIVITY. EVERYONE IS INVOLVED SOMEHOW, EVEN BORING HUMANS. PLEASE BE HONEST EVEN IF IT IS TO YOUR DISADVANTAGE. I COULDN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH. Host notes You, the players, are responsible for whatever you say. If you're being taunted to reveal ANYTHING (and I do mean anything) about your TSF play it smart and don't fall for it. If any of you claim human in this%2 Last edited by FictionJunction; 04-23-2009 at 11:37 AM.. |

Re: TWG LXXX Host Signups
uhm....what?
that sounds like a completely different game. keep in mind that a few newbies are joining in this game, so keep it simple, and ive read over yours 3 times and it still makes no sense. but meh, if for some reason, this gets chosen, then Ill wait for the TWG after this one, cause yours is wierd.

Re: TWG LXXX Host Signups
you're new and haven't a clue what you're saying.
go read old games. the idea behind the limited freedom of speech comes from 'illegal roles' from games back in the day. These roles were special roles that, if revealed to other players by any means, would be immediately eliminated from the game. The whole point is to avoid revealing your role. I've taken the concept and multiplied it to literally force players to cooperate with each other and participate. Green humans will have something to do to keep them interested, too. The Impartial human comes from tokzic's totem game which was nothing short of amazing. Last edited by FictionJunction; 04-23-2009 at 05:43 AM.. |

i also know that thats got too many wierd added things for me to want to play as my first TWG game. Theres nothing wrong with your idea, you just gotta keep in mind that AT LEAST 2 new people are starting this round. so if you want a good game, keep it simple, and add some strange stuff to what the seer/guardian can do or something.

Re: TWG LXXX Host Signups
FJ. Took me 2 readings to understand what a TSF standed for. That should have been clearer...
And there is something else I don't really understand. It is said that reports should be sent in PM with logs and other stuff. By reports, do you mean seerings, guardings, ...? I think not since it makes no sense to post logs, but I don't anything worth of log posting... |

Re: TWG LXXX Host Signups
maybe I should have set the proper context for the player responsibilities bit, but, by 'reports' I mean reporting any unauthorized trade of information as stated by THE LAW. of the town.
edit: there, fixed. please check for any possible exploits, etc. If your findings involve anything about a particular role's TSF then don't even worry about it. It'll all come together if the game is voted for. Last edited by FictionJunction; 04-23-2009 at 08:17 AM.. |

Re: TWG LXXX Host Signups
I'd prefer someone host this other than me, but if not then I'll do it. Just be patient because it'd be my first time hosting. =p
Russian Roulette of Really Radical and Awesome Alliterations This game is to be based somewhat on luck. 18 player game. 4 wolves, 3 blue roles, 2 purple roles and 9 unfortunate normal humans. One wolf must be chosen to do the wolfing. Wolves: Creature Commander: Seers green, and is the one who chooses which wolf does the wolfing. Yaaaay Dictatorship. If he is hit by the effect of the suicide bomber, he can divert the effect to the apprentice wolf. If killed, the apprentice wolf takes the role of creature commander.Belligerent Bomber: You all know what it does. Can kill someone at any phase at the cost of his/her own life. If this wolf is guarded and chooses to suicide bomb, the wolf's target is lost and he/she and the guardian die. Also, if he is the one who is chosen to do the wolfing, he will have a 50/50 chance to suicide bomb to take out one more person at random. This is not selective, so he could potentially kill another wolf in the process. Fortunate fiend: If he/she receives an item, he/she can give any effect of his choosing an extra %50 chance of occurring. Also has a 50/50 chance of seering green if targeted. Admirable Apprentice: The lowly fiend who follows the other wolves with his tail between his legs. He's a devoted servant who can choose to take a hit for his comrades at any point in time. If a negative item effect hits the creature commander, it has a 50% chance of being diverted to him. The Humans: Dark Defender: Can choose to guard one player in the night phase only. If the person targeted for wolving is guarded, a dodge dabloon is awarded.Solar Supervisor: Can choose to guard one player from lynching. If the person guarded is insta'd or the vote goes through with them being the one up for lynching, day phase is negated and everyone is awarded phantoms. If there are 10 phantoms at any time, the Light guardian can remove them to buy an item of his choice with the exception of the lucky coin. Mighty Medicine Man:Can choose to seer one person each night phase. Is awarded the lucky coin if they successfully seer a wolf. Is awarded a lucky coin at the end of day 3. Villiage Idiot: Frankly, this person doesn't give a hoot about who's a wolf or who's a human. He's only out to keep his friend alive. So, if at the end of the game his friend, (be it wolf or be it human) is still alive, he'll go home as happy as humanly possible. Granted, he'll be dead, so it doesn't really matter, but he'd achieve his goal. Phantom Forager: Has the ability to take away 5 phantoms a turn in order to put a guard on a person of their choosing. The person they choose first they must keep alive for the duration of the game. 9 normal humans. Special items: Dodge Dabloon: It can be won by a guardian by successfully guarding a wolving or a lynch, and can be given to a player of their choosing. During the day phase, the owner of the coin can use it to negate one person's vote for the day.Lottery ticket: Given at random 4 times throughout the game, by choice of the players. The amount of people in favor of receiving it must outnumber the amount against by one at the least. (5:5 is not acceptable, majority rules) Lottery ticket can be used for a 10% chance of one the following: The current phase is negated Owner obtains the effect of being guarded this phase A random player's role is negated this turn. (Wolf cannot wolf, guard cannot guard, humanis unaffected if used at night, or cannot vote if used during the day) 60%chance of doing nothing Lucky dice: A player will randomly obtain one of these each day phase on the condition that both guardians choose not to guard in order to obtain the dice. It is not selective between wolves and humans, so can be won by either side. Lucky dice enable the owner to vote twice during the lynching OR can be rolled, giving the user a 30% chance of obtaining a lottery ticket. It has a 10% chance of roleblocking the user immediately for the next day AND night phase. 60%chance of doing nothing. Lucky coin: Can only be won by the seer successfully seering a wolf. Enables the seer to grant one player of their choosing the wolfsbane ability for one phase. The seer may give the wolfsbane at any time. Psychic Specs: Given out once each night phase to a random human. Gives a one time psychic ability. Rules: Editing off Night talk on Insta on

Re: TWG LXXX Host Signups
note that bolth's game requires 18 players (12 greens) to even start.
16 is already pushing it. a seer/guard/mw game shouldn't normally go past the 12th player mark. 3wolves|9humans. 18 player games should be, at the very least, more involving. so shorten your player pool unless you want a simple and inactive game. |

Re: TWG LXXX Host Signups
but fiction! the game needs all these players to actually make use of the seer's 4 seering cap!
Oh, ok. glad you intend on boring 12 human players until the seer decides to actually use his seerings on day4 and still get a human. |
