What would happen...
if a file with mines or pauses or holds was put into the game? Now I know the game isn't compatable with these functions, but what would happen if an administrator tried it? Would the song not play? Would FFR be completely screwed up?

Re: What would happen...
My guess would be nothing..
Mines would be just like boos.. You can mash on FFR but not SM So basically altogether fail.. Unless they made the mines if you hit autofail.

Re: What would happen...
There is no point in trying because this isnt SM. Those are SM features, they stay SM features.

Re: What would happen...
It accounts for pauses but 'flattens' them out the same way bpm changes are flattened out; I know this because ABCDEath uses some pauses for syncing and it came out fine in ffr.

Re: What would happen...
'flattens' as in turns it all into a cmod. so it records the positions of notes but not the bpm at the time

Re: What would happen...
i dont know if i was making stuff up when i was a nub or not...but iirc, there was a few easy songs, that, just before the end of the song, slowed down, and i always got goods on the last notes, cause the bpm change freaked me out.
now i dunno whether its fixed or if it never existed :O

Actually Bolth, it's a glitch that happened on some of the old songs. I forget why though.

Re: What would happen...
Well on stepmania if you use a cmod on a song with negative bpm a lot of arrows start appearing on your screen when there's actually only a few arrows that can be hit.
So I'm assuming it would result in misses on FFR? |

Re: What would happen...
I'd assume it wouldn't compile, throw an error and probably not bother trying to run something it doesn't know how to interpret.
