Re: TWG Turbo VIII: Time Travel (Turbo) - Game Thread
I read the later part too fast apparently. but it seemed odd because usually the reads list is a summary, and for it to not include reads that were posted in the same post farther down makes it less helpful. if you were just responding in order of posts though then that would make more sense

Re: TWG Turbo VIII: Time Travel (Turbo) - Game Thread
because i already mentioned him earlier and didn't feel the need to do it again. indheart has been pretty consistent in his stances and dfr reacted in a pretty reasonable way toward my aggression. again, leans don't really mean much. i don't have any sure feelings yet

Re: TWG Turbo VIII: Time Travel (Turbo) - Game Thread
Charu seems like he has been probing a lot which gives him town points in my book
IDK about Sunfan he seems very wishy-washy which could be a wolf covering all bases or could just be a confused human Neeee was such a god-like town last game that it's a bit weird he hasn't been posting more. and when he does it doesn't seem that invested. He really went after his reads hard last game and he doesn't seem to be doing that this game. Seems like he is trying not to stick his head out too much? I like MML's train of thought regarding dadcop everyone else I'm not quite sure about. I haven't seen anything that stuck out to me as super wolf-like from any player yet |

well you probed a few people and seemed like you pressure voted me so maybe it stuck out a bit more than what you actually did. But still, you have done it

Re: TWG Turbo VIII: Time Travel (Turbo) - Game Thread
seemed like he was trying to get a reaction out of me so he could see how I reacted, sometimes people can use shitposts/shitvotes to do that

These really look like your reaching for to defend him to me. Maybe I am reading to far into that.... [/quote] ....or maybe you're trying your best to defend your wolf buddy while at the same time push him into giving real thoughts about the game before everyone sees my point. Because you're arguments are weak when compared to the case I already built and believing you're a wolf is a little easier to believe then believing you're not paying attention. PS I may be in and out over the next hour but will be in for EoD. if it looks like I won't be I'll sneak a vote on my phone should I feel I should change it. (I don't know if I will tbh if Raeko is going to be active) |

Re: TWG Turbo VIII: Time Travel (Turbo) - Game Thread
a couple things
a) i liked sunfan's post about 'knights home site would crucify him for not having an avatar, and therefore he is trying to skate by without one and go unnoticed.' I think it is an out-of-the-box way to try and read me, whi, but wrong for a couple reasons. 1st- I am very much NOT a player who sits back and lets things happen. As either alignment, i like to try and dictate the pace/flow of the game. I make reads earlier than most people, I attack people harder than most people, and I like to be in the center of the conversation. I'm kind of a selfish player in that way; if I can see the thought process on how people read me, it makes it easier to get reads on people if i'm a villager/fabricate reads on people if i'm a wolf. So the conclusion that you think i'm trying to be 'under the radar' is completely against how I like to play the game as either alignment. 2nd) something you couldn't know: My first full game on 2+2 POG I didn't have an avatar/refused to make one (for some reason, i don't even remember anymore) and we won. I ended up getting an avatar halfway through my next game after that iirc. I did the same thing on MafiaUniverse for my first game there (I was just too lazy, it was a turbo) and won. So i'm kinda just doing it as a 'tradition thing' now. I'm actually playing my first game on another site atm (ongoing) and I don't have an avatar on that site rn either. So while I disagree with the veracity of the read, I like how/where the read came from, if that makes any sense. 2) I REALLY like this post from Etyl. Suuuuper pure imo. most solid townread of mine atm based on this post; specifically the bold. Quote:

I've seen the posts you've quoted about him and I disagree with your scumread, I've produced some of his posts that I think showcase a town mindset
