If I were him, I would actually put something in the envelope because I would know that it would be least expected of the general community if I were not to make the envelope empty. In other words, making it empty would not be a shock while putting something in it would probably surprise all of us. In other words, he is intelligent in that his character traits include a shrewd attempt at greed. In other words, he is intelligently evil. In other words, I idolize him as of now. In other words, I am using a defense mechanism.

It could be a contained auction within an elite class of drug dealers...

You know, you could be more right than you think. (Or something else that they already know about.)

I think that's what the seller wants the bidders to think, but then again, maybe you're right . . .

And actually, come to think of it, many times I have denounced something for being stupid, and later gotten really excited about it. It's a psychology trick behind a simple joke.

Sometime this year I am going to do it, I am going to put in it a PS2 Controller.

Who would accually pay that much for an envelope that might just have a stupid picture in it? It might not even be a pic but still....I would never pay that much for it...

Here are two clues to what's in the envelope.

Yes it is valuable and Yes it is something a great many people would want. What is it? Ok let's not push it too far.

I think he did a fantastic job on being as vague as possible.

Watch, inside there's a certificate saying how incredibly stupid you are for buying an envelope. Or maybe a list of all the things you could have bought with the money you wasted. Or the number of starving Ethiopians you could have fed with the money. Probably something like that...

Or Ebay noticed it was something extremely stupid and wouldn't allow it to sell.

It says that people enjoy it.

It's probably like a 100 dollar bill.

Oh man, that would rock.
