Frozen - Celldweller (short) sim file finished!
Take a look at my first sim file! It only has one difficulty (I would say somewhere between difficult and very difficult). Load up StepMania and give it a try! feedback is appreciated.

Re: Frozen - Celldweller (short) sim file finished!
I'm not a judge or anything but it's pretty good for being your first file, i really liked it for being an easier file.
Couple things I thought the beat/rhythm of the last measure (174) was a bit off though.. maybe it's just me and the other thing is I think there should be jumps when the vocals first come in during the intro. edit: nevermind, the ending plays out fine.. keep it up! Re: Frozen - Celldweller (short) sim file finished!
Yeah I was thinking about adding the jumps in there, thought it might add some clutter to the intro so I decided not to. Might add them if/when I complete the Long version of the song.
Other than that the notes were all in sync? I'm not as good at the game so some of those note clusters I put in were a bit difficult for me to pull off, expecially that one spot where I put the real quick jumps EDIT: and I think you might be right about that 174th measure, the second yellow seems to play better as a blue. seeing as this is your first file dont worry about what anyone else thinks. you're stepping files so you can enjoy them not anyone else so keep at it. eventually you'll get the hang of things

I guess it's because I'm new at this, but what exactly am I looking at? all I see is a yellow 16th note?

Re: Frozen - Celldweller (short) sim file finished!
so changing the beat 0 offset from -.160 to -.240 should fix it? I can't really tell the difference IMO.
EDIT: Try this: http://www.mediafire.com/?qzbolxvp97r1m46 I changed that one note at the end, and hopefully the timing is fixed. Going to add it to the first post too. Last edited by kylegusek; 03-31-2011 at 02:45 PM.. |

if you can't tell at rate 1.0x, lower the music rate to 0.5x then you'll definitely notice

Thumbs up. I played it with no sound cuz I'm at the library, but there wasn't any retarded dump shit that most people throw into their first file.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess playing the communities finer songs on FFR for the last few years helped with that :P Last edited by kylegusek; 04-1-2011 at 11:35 AM.. |
