For 16ths into a jump; how hard would (1)(2)(14) or (4)(2)(14) be to hit on 150 bpm 16ths, then? Hmm.

EDIT: For one-handers. I doubt new people would come to the game and start playing index.

Not too hard, at that bpm but most things two handed are preferable for easier files.

At least, that's what I'd do for easier files.

Also, did you get my IM about which Orange Dust song you should step?

That's probably the best patterns you could do for that for a one hander.

Okay, I can't deny FFR the awesomeness of Animal Alpha any longer. I'm submitting a redone version of Bundy. It's still a bit old school, but it's harder and more technical while still being a simple and easy file. I'll also send a resynced Hot Soup. Two hardass files and two easy files. Cool.

P.S: Going over and sending fixed Twelve in a bit.

So apparently everyone thinks that a piss easy 3-note up jack is hard. Peace.

EDIT: I effortlessly Marv this jack on j4 in SM Perf it on j5 if it's that easy in SM then in FFR it's not really hard just sayin. Not like I'm saying the file should get in. Obviously it's not very suitable for FFR as the music only allows for so much and that's fine, no complaints here, there are many songs to be stepped. Just kind of wondering how a 3-note up jack is hard ?__?

Patashu, I read through your comments and you're right about all them. Some places like the "generic patterns" I literally have almost no idea what I did, haha. You asked a question though, and while it may be a rhetoric question I'll just answer you anyway so you know (and because I have nothing else better to do right now).

Because that's what makes room for the next note to be a higher pitch than that 16th in the M43's gallop in question. Otherwise you're going backwards in pitch and that's not pitch relevant.

There is no "true PR" when you're working with 4 arrows. The keyword to your question is "earlier UR gallop". Some stepfile artists think you should step the same sound on exactly the same note at ALL times, even across different measures and movements of music. If you have to go back to the left as a "continuation" of the PR, so be it. And that's fine. To me, that totally breaks the feeling of PR because I feel I've gone lower when I've heard a sound that goes higher. I know the intended effect, but it doesn't feel good.

Others, like myself, like to actually have a note that goes higher go to the right, and a note that goes lower go to the left. If this means stepping something that is technically a different pitch as SOMEWHERE ELSE in the song on the same arrow, then so be it. At least you are always going higher or lower which is PR to that artist. And that's fine too. It feels a lot better, but for somebody that is trying to be "technically correct" (in whatever way you can possible be technically correct about PR), it's not going to look as good.

Again, true PR is usually impossible and it's up to each individual stepfile artist to convey the pitch in a way that does it some justice, since absolute justice is often not achievable.

Now, does all that matter as far as my file goes? No, not at all; my file won't be queued because I'm not bastardizing the PR by changing the right-handed jacks. They're plenty fun and plenty easy. And again, that's fine if Tass feels the difficulty there is out of place. I just have a really big thing about PR so that's why I'm answering.
