Then you get people going "this file is way too hard for an 11 " and others going "lol first FMO AAA".

Most of the files with huge FC-difficulty spikes are either high FGO/FSO, or very old files (CP, RunnyMorning). I honestly don't see why we need more files that many people will PA but won't FC.
PIU is a combo scoring game and has several songs with insane difficulty spikes; in fact, difficulty spikes are more common in Korean music games as a whole. It's actually a feature I enjoy a lot, because it keeps things interesting. And if you're wondering, yes, the spike in RunnyMorning was inspired by Korean music games.

New system for submission cap.

Submission Cap and Simfile Artist Point System

[How to get Simfile Artist Points]

Have a file in the game or queue -> +10
Got 18/20 or more points in a file (11/27/2010 batch or later) -> +2
Got 17/20 or fewer points in a file, which is accepted (11/27/2010 batch or later) -> +1

* collaboration files won't add points for you, but when you submit a collaboration file it's counted as 0.5 submission for each stepper.

[Bonus/Penalty] (on 4 judges/team system)

Getting 20/20 in a file -> bonus +1
Getting ++ from 2 judges -> bonus +2
Getting ++ from 3 judges -> bonus +5
Getting ++ from 4 judges -> bonus +10
Getting 4/20 in a file -> penalty -1
Getting -- from 2 judges -> penalty -2
Getting -- from 3 judges -> penalty -5
Getting -- from 4 judges -> penalty -10
Submitting more files than the cap with alt account -> penalty -3
Apparently stealing steps from other simfiles -> penalty -10

ex) A file got (++, ++, +, +), then +2 for 18/20 or more, +1 bonus for 20/20, +2 bonus for got ++ from 2 judges. Total +5pts.

[Submission Cap by Simfile Artist Point]

Negative pts - 1
0-9pts - 2
10-11pts - 3
12-19pts - 4
20-29pts - 5
30-39pts - 6
40-49pts - 7
50pts or more - 8

Sync fix? Of all the things wrong with that file, the sync was definitely one thing that was right. Can you specify areas?

can't pick all parts, so specific parts in the beginning.

end of beat2, m15
overall, m17-18
m19 beat4 - m20

Similar things might be seen on other rainbow parts, on those parts arrow rhythms don't match the actual piano.
Other parts I looked through in the beginning are within acceptable range I guess.

Maybe not many people even care but still not ignorable for me (20+ms at parts).
overall not bad syncing for this song, but fixes are preferable imo.
Final judgement is up to other judges.

actually 20/20 and 2++s ones are quite possible, others might be pretty difficult.

So this would pretty much mean I get 1 submission even though I submitted files last time and one of them wasn't necessarily horrible. Am I getting that right?
Also, I already sent in the fix for -Glorious Morning-, would that count as the 1 submission?

Lol yay for 0 points
That's ok though. Beautiful Arrhythmia is fixed and so much better than the last one from the last batch. I'll try to step another song in the meanwhile before next batch is open

To the judges:
I think I forgot to say this but thank you for your helpful reviews / time to judge all the files! Can't wait for the next batch!

EDIT: I love the scoring system!

You would have two. None of your files received totally abysmal ratings, and since Glorious Morning wasn't accepted, it would count as one of your slots.

EDIT: I have 40 points? Yay.

ichliebekase: You can submit 2 new files + resubmissions.

When you submit files as resubmissions, don't forget about this (read the first post).
"[Resubmission] at the top of the name of zip/rar file and folder"

Halogen: You have 10 points, and submission cap for 3 files.

And I already submitted the resubmission with the tag on it too. Saw that a while ago when I sent it :3
