how about you? what kind of games do you play? (this question can apply for everyone, i'd love to get to know more about you guys!)

also I go by he/him!
I don't even remember the last time I played FFR lol,but love rhythm games generally. Mostly IIDX now. I was more into Overwatch then TF2 but I don't tend to play either anymore. Sea of Thieves looks fun

Right now I've been playing Final Fantasy XVI, trying to avoid the scuttlebutt until I've beaten it but it already seems I enjoy it more then the average Twitter user. I liked XV better then most too, but I always liked janky games---they tend to have more personality. I do sorta wish it was turnbased but honestly for a brawler it's hella satisfying to set shit on fire.

Big into fighters too; Tekken, Virtua Fighter, any of the Neo Geo stuff but especially King of Fighters, all of the Capcom ones like Street Fighter, and of course Bushido Blade 2 (duh)

I actually do have a really wordy, really poorly paced overly long Top Ten Video that's a little out of date now that I've played Persona 5 Royale, but my Top 3 of all time was

3 Chrono Trigger
2 Super Mario Bros 3
1 DDR Extreme

So you know, that kind of gamer lmao

I'm currently working my way through baba is you! it's realllly hard though and I haven't made progress in a while lol

unfortunately I spoiled the portal games for myself already, but I plan to play through both of them myself at some point!

My favorite Tetris "clone" is Cleopatra Fortune because it adds so much to the formula that it basically doesn't even use the same side of my brain. The "Mystery Mode" in the console versions are also excellent mind twisters

An obscure one is Kluster on Gameboy. Play your own music though

Also it doesn't count as a puzzle game but I am a huge simp of Phozon and it's sorta adjacent.

Don't worried about being spoiled on Portal
I mean yeah it's cooler to play blind but they are rewarding regardless

oooh, I'll have to check those out!

fair point. I don't think I'll ever forget the plot of the portal games, but the puzzles will still be fresh!

Hot take

Portal's plot is over rating. The writing and the quips are excellent but knowing what's happening doesn't take away from the game

completely agree, just recently i have replayed through the entire game, still getting goosebumps from the ending and just completely adore Wheatley's character, little british ball of metal

Hi I'm qwerty, we used to have this board game session after school and werewolf was one of them. Never knew this exist until ffr discord mentioned about the game, sooo I joined for fun.

I have 0 knowledge on how this game works specifically on this forum, but I will try my best.

Sorry for the super duper late response, as I had this 12-hour flight to go back to my home country (I just finished my first semester).

Y'know... speaking of ffxvi, I was watching Vinny (vinesauce) playing it last night. Pretty metal stuff going on there.

Also a huge coincidence because I just recently finished ffxii zodiac age, lmao

(Yes, my hands are getting better that I can play my beloved video games again♡)

Oh right, favorites

Well.......... fudge, there's *a lot* I enjoy. Mostly oldies because I'm... well... an oldie!

Been a Zelda fan for years now and I always will have great pleasure playing OoT before hopping on the masterpiece known as Twilight Princess. BotW and TotK are lovely, but they'll never replace the beautifully structured game like Twlight Princess.

...

Lessee...

OH!

Metroid in general. Anything Super Metroid and beyond has been fantastic.

I feel like the only person on earth that wasn't interested in Open World Zelda and then became the only person on earth that isn't interested in Minecraft Zelda

They look fine, I'm glad they exist but I just have other uses for my Switch
