If you have the X-Box one, don't get the PC one.

The PC one is slightly better, but you also have to deal with being underpowered (the game will not run as smoothly on your PC as it will on the Box, period).l

Get it for Xbox. Its very fun (although freaking overrated), but the PC version is...kind of crap. The grafix may have been state of the art when they came out as an Xbox launch title, but now when pitted against such games as Max Payne 2 and Deus Ex 2, it looks like crap. Plus, no matter what you do its always a little bit laggy, there's been some bug issues, and a few new features don't warrant having to pay the full price for a game you can get for $20 less on console.

Yeah. The lag is stupid awful on Halo for computer...

Personally, I want to know why it took the CEO over at Bungie two years to realize "Hey, we have a bestselling game here...maybe we should port it." As a result, it now looks and plays like crap compared to a lot of other titles out there, and its not selling as well. And the worst is, they didn't even port it right!

Uhm.

Halo runs fine on my computer. I encounter a bit of lag when I'm playing online, but that's to be expected when running through a router.

People make the mistake of not toning down the graphics to low settings. They just HAVE to make the game look as perfect as possible. That's retarded, IMO.

Also, AC, funny you should mention games that are nothing like a typical first person shooter. Also, with Deus Ex 2, the graphics only look good until you actually play it. it's nothing to rave about. AND, the game lags no matter what you do. The coding for it was lazy. I've a friend with a top notch computer that was only getting 20 frames per second while staring at a wall with everything turned to bare minimum. You've no right to call bash Halo for being laggy and then praise Deus Ex 2.
