Lighting render test.
A combination of advanced high dynamic range lighting, mental ray reflection materials, and a very small amount of animation. This took 4.5 hours to render on an 8.8ghz quadcore machine.

Re: Lighting render test.
It was rendered at 320x240, which is pretty small, image lighting gives amazingly fast renders, because there are no additional objects to trace at depth. Each frame took between 9-12 seconds, 1400 frames.
