The "Thumbs" System.
What's the point of it? Nobody uses it for it's intended purpose, to show who has the best looking profile. Everyone just gives random thumbs ups to new profiles they see to get a thumbs up back and gain some popularity points. I utilize the system, though. I give thumbs ups to nice profiles and thumbs downs to bad ones, but whenever you give a thumbs down the other person also gives a thumbs down and usually becomes defensive, completely defeating the purpose. I don't know, I just think it's the dumbest **** on profiles right now (besides rithim). /rant

Re: The "Thumbs" System.
Why do you even care.
There is nothing wrong with the system, it's just a way for people to stroke their e-penis. Thumbs down don't even matter, they all go on your counter. /end

Practically a pc4pc concept. You can either utilize the system or disregard it.

Re: The "Thumbs" System.
They don't all go on your counter. I don't know why people think that.
If you get an up vote, you get a +1, if you get a down vote, you get a 0. The 0 does not effect your count. Only the +1 does. |

Re: The "Thumbs" System.
Truly, it's no big deal...i vote tumbs down to people who have crappy profiles...
a few voted thumbs down for me, i vote whatever their profile is worthy of, even though they didn't like mine. I'm not a weenie like people who vote whatever you voted for them...i vote truthfully |

Re: The "Thumbs" System.
I just wish it would show more than the last 20 thumbs up/down.

Re: The "Thumbs" System.
Votes were cool when they were first introduced. Everyone was a votewhore. Now nobody could care less. The only time I'll vote on someone's profile is when I've gotten to know them. It's kind of a way of saying, "Hey ur prty awesome!!! wanna be friends?!?" At least for me.
Agreed. I want to see my full list of votes just for the heck of it. |

Re: The "Thumbs" System.
It's pretty silly. I thought everyone was here for FFR or to chat, not to judge a profile and some voting system.
It does as one advantage of kinda showing who's active on here, as in, if you have alot of votes it shows you're pretty active. |

Re: The "Thumbs" System.
It just a nice gesture to do to say like hey or cool or nice profile. I just give them to be nice or cause they give me one or a cool profile.

Re: The "Thumbs" System.
Just turn it into a karma system and make it anonymous imo. -1 goes down 1 and +1 goes up 1.

And I'll never give someone a thumbs up because they gave me one if I don't know them. I do it for people I like. But, my phone has images disabled so sometimes I accidently give thumbs down, lol. |
