am I improving at the rate I should be?

hey I was just curious if I am where I should be
I started playing on 2006-01-22

I have AAA'd:

love you anymore
trip to the moon
halcyon
dance 2 this
seattles finest
supermario 8bit
this beat is for tha streets
for who I am
computer dreams
moonlight sonata
activity unbroken
soul shift
falling into you

I just ran a Maxforever and got

Perfect:2226
Good:332
Average:132
Miss:28
Boo:169

Max combo - 385 (got 480 before)

I also got a full combo on the song "for the nihonjins"

am I good for how long I have played ? bad ? could be better?

also what songs should I work on AAA'ing ?

just wondering thats all thanks

edit: just ran another and got like a 685 combo o.o

Izlude, what is your average level rank? That's a better way to judge ur skill level than posting AAAs of easy songs or ur score on just one certain song.

For ur reference, I've been playing since Feb '06 and my average level rank is 360. I don't know how fast the average person improves? I know I'm better than some people who started before me...but I also know that I'm worse than some people who started after me....

what about songs like Halogen? Hanabi? or Water like Pudding? Can you FC any of those? what is your PA like (PA = perfect attack, or basically how few goods/averages do you get).

Hard to judge just based on easy AAAs... hundreds of people have AAAd those. Much different to have accuracy on piss easy stuff than be even decent at harder files.

BUT... with those as AAAs, I'd start trying to AAA harder stuff... or at least SDG (single digit greats). Like Burnout, SZR, BtC, Massive. those 4 are all right around the same difficulty and similar type of songs... long streams with not much else, and they aren't that fast either.

I have started around nov 05 in FFR. Close to your start time.

As example, I can FC CIA rave with 30th goods
FC Delirium with 30th goods.
FC Cutting circles with 60 goods
FC Dot Death with < 50 goods.
Start Something with 4 goods
Etude to a Dragon 23 goods.

What are you scores on these?

I will have to practice some of those ( never play any of those) I did cia rave and got around a 350 combo lol : / thanks for the help

Play harder songs, don't bother with PA because it means nothing until you can at least read and FC songs like CIA Rave and Delirium. Work only on speed, try not to play easier songs like Mario or Trip to the Moon.

well I can read everything I think I just dont practice enough because when I sit down and play one song I seem to do better each time I play it lol

Yea I'd say you're going pretty good Iz, but you have to do harder songs. Being able to FC and do harder songs is a lot more impressive than those AAA's.

Accuracy is the last thing you work on, work on faster songs, more notes, streams, etc before you go for PA.
