The Video Game Cliché Thread

I hope this works. Anyway, in this game, you say something that is a cliché in way too many video games, such as the strongest enemies always being closest to the final dungeon or you getting to every event just in the nick of time whether you screwed around for 5 minutes before going there, or for 5 hours. The next person posts an exception to that cliché, if there are any, and posts their own.

So, if the first person said that every shop buys and sells every item for the exact same price, the next person could say an exception to that is Tales of the Abyss or Paper Mario.

Ok, I'll start it off with this: Every character with a name is important, and any character that is left unnamed is unimportant.
